4R have been using view finders in art to create some up-close, detailed drawings of rainforest animals. They then added pastels to colour their designs ready to create some nature patterns next week. 🎨

⭐️5R enjoyed an afternoon of making in science this week. We tried to make wind propellers after learning about different pulley mechanisms. It was quite tricky but some of us managed to get them to work properly! ⭐️

We are so proud of all the children who took part in Annie Jr 🌟

They worked incredibly hard throughout rehearsals, showed amazing dedication and enthusiasm, and every bit of that effort shone through on stage. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow and their talents come to life.

They loved every minute of the experience and delivered fantastic performances. Well done to each and every one of them – you should all be very proud! 👏🎭✨

We celebrated children for a wide range of achievements, including super writing, contributing thoughtfully to class discussions, excellent maths skills, tackling tricky work with determination, and consistently working hard in everything they do. 🎨🖌️5R won the attendo treat this week! After a class vote, they chose to have an art and craft afternoon. We had all sorts of things going on like painting, sketching and some football theme things ready for the World Cup! 🖌️🎨

🧩➕ This week, we were delighted to welcome our Year 5 families to our Maths Curriculum Afternoon! 🔢✨
Parents and carers joined their children to take part in a range of exciting problem-solving activities, working together to think critically, reason mathematically and tackle challenges as a team. 🤔💡
It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, perseverance and collaboration on display throughout the afternoon. 😊👏

🖼️WE'VE DONE IT AGAIN!🖼️
Mr Haley and Mr Storey were delighted to visit London to represent our school at the National Gallery's Take One Picture Event.
It was a fantastic opportunity to see a wide range of artwork inspired by Canaletto's Regatta on the Grande Canal. With around 79,000 children taking part nationally, we are incredibly proud that our Year 4 artwork was selected to be displayed alongside work from just 35 other schools.
A wonderful achievement and a memorable experience for everyone involved. Well done, Year 4!
