Emily has been teaching at SPS since late June, covering for Giorgia, and has already built such lovely connections with her students 💜

Her superpower? Helping students navigate confidence issues and performance anxiety with strategy, care, and calm reassurance 🫶

In September, Emily is heading to university to study psychology, all while continuing her singing teaching and developing her own vocal skills 🎶📚

Her long-term goal is to specialise in supporting children with additional needs, particularly those who may find traditional lesson structures challenging, and to explore the psychology behind singing even further 🤩

Emily creates a space where you instantly feel comfortable, supported, and confident enough to unlock your true voice potential 🌟

However, it is important to note that, nasality can absolutely be used stylistically in some genres, but in singing it is important to be able to control as and when you use it! 💜

So glad to be back in SPS after 2 weeks off for Christmas and new years after having such a lovely festive season in the school 🫶

December was a great month for SPS with lots of fun, laughter, Christmas songs, and a bit of a rest from exam prep!

Now that it’s the new year I can’t wait to pick up with all the students and help everyone reach their full voice potential this year! 🌟
