MUSICAL MAMMIES🤱🏻🎶

Something new I’m offering through thevoicecentrenortheast on a Tuesday 💜

I’m working on a relaunch at The Voice Centre, introducing new services and new ways to work with me! Here’s the first of the new services I’m offering for other m**s and babies 🤩

After a beautiful maternity leave at the wonderful theplaygrouphubsunderland I’m very excited to be returning to work and running this session alongside my little bestie 🥹🎶

At SPS, we want to make sure that everyone feels comfortable using their own voice in an environment that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental 🫶

We encourage mistakes at SPS, because mistakes are an absolutely key part of learning! 😮

We want to ensure that everyone comes to their lessons, happy, excited, and comfortable with their own authentic voice - real confidence in singing comes with acceptance of your true singing voice! 🌟

If you’re interested, give us a message about booking a trial session 💜

Meet the SPS staff (caricature edition!) pt. 2: Giorgia 🫶

POV: You don’t just teach performing arts… you also give vocal massages 💆🏻‍♀️🎤

Jumping on this trend because it perfectly sums up what I do 💜
Most people know me as a performing arts teacher…
But I’m also a vocal massage specialist🥰

By day, I’m your performing arts teacher — building confident, expressive, technically strong performers.
And behind the scenes? I help voices recover, release tension, and stay healthy with specialist vocal massage.

Performance + care.
Power + prevention.
Artistry + anatomy.

Because your voice deserves both ✨

Your voice isn’t just an instrument — it’s part of your body.
Training it and caring for it should go hand in hand.

Meet the SPS Staff (Caricature Edition! 😂)Pt. 1: Emily!

Emily has been teaching at SPS since late June, covering for Giorgia, and has already built such lovely connections with her students 💜

Her superpower? Helping students navigate confidence issues and performance anxiety with strategy, care, and calm reassurance 🫶

In September, Emily is heading to university to study psychology, all while continuing her singing teaching and developing her own vocal skills 🎶📚

Her long-term goal is to specialise in supporting children with additional needs, particularly those who may find traditional lesson structures challenging, and to explore the psychology behind singing even further 🤩

Emily creates a space where you instantly feel comfortable, supported, and confident enough to unlock your true voice potential 🌟

Drop us a DM if you’d like to inquire about 1:1 singing lessons with Emily 🫶

Singing starts with trust. 🎶
At SPS, we make sure every student feels safe, supported, and comfortable - both to sing and to speak openly. Confidence grows when you feel heard 💜

Common singing mistake: too much nasal sound 👃🎤

However, it is important to note that, nasality can absolutely be used stylistically in some genres, but in singing it is important to be able to control as and when you use it! 💜
