If you haven't seen this yet, I urge you to give it a try as it is a great showcase of not only the power of sport but how accessible, enjoyable and impactful cricket can be for young players discovering it for the first time at any age. I love my opportunities to work as a coach and it was great to see someone like Freddie Flintoff sharing his passion and desire to connect with the players and make a difference however small. Even with his blossoming TV career, he clearly still has a huge place in his heart for the sport that made him famous.🏏 I genuinely got quite emotional at times, especially during Episode 3!

This is fantastic viewing for parents and sports coaches. Even if you don't have time to watch the full 15 mins - watch the first 5 mins as it provides serious food for thought about how success should really be measured.

This petition needs as many signatures as possible to safeguard practical courses including the likes of PE/Sports Science, Performance Arts, and Film/TV Technology in-depth (1 or 2 A-Level equivalent) BTECs and student choice at Sixth Form. Students shouldn't be forced to choose between just academic A-Levels or vocational T-Levels. Please sign and share.

Reverse the plan to withdraw funding for most applied general qualifications such as BTECs and guarantee they will continue to play a major role in the qualifications landscape. Students should not be forced to choose between studying A levels or T levels from the age of 16.

This is great news! The accessibility of cricket via terrestrial TV is vital for generating interest and making the sport appealing to those from all social and economic backgrounds, not just those that can afford Sky and BT Sport.

Four England Twenty20 matches will be shown on BBC TV as live cricket returns to UK screens from next month.

This year's GCSE and A-Level exams have already cancelled. However, the prolonged time out of school surely means that adaptations have to be made for those who are due to sit those exams over the next couple of years.
