🎉 That’s a wrap for Bricks & Butties 2026! 🎉
It was incredibly difficult for Mrs Goulding to judge the competition, and there was a lot of deliberating before the final decisions were made. Every child who took part should be immensely proud of their build, creativity and teamwork.
More importantly than the competition itself, we hope we gave all the fathers, grandfathers and mums who wear that hat too, a wonderful hour to spend together and celebrate the special role you play in our children’s lives.
Thank you once again to everyone who joined us, helped out and made the event such a success. The laughter, creativity and community spirit on display were everything that makes Cavendish such a special place.
Until next time! ❤️🧱✨

🥉 Third place goes to Rupert and his dad, Will!
Together, they created an impressive collection of farming equipment, including a cultivator, a plough and a tractor. The attention to detail and thought that went into the build really stood out.
With Cavendish being such a rural community, we felt it was only right that this fantastic tribute to local farming featured in our top three!
A huge well done to Rupert and Will. Certificates will be sent home tomorrow, but congratulations on a brilliant build! 🚜👏🧱✨

🥈 Second place goes to Oliver L, Oliver T, Mioni and Wilf!
This team impressed us with their creativity and teamwork. Mioni explained that their build was a model of Cavendish Primary School itself, and we could definitely see the vision!
A fantastic effort from all of you, and a wonderful example of working together to bring an idea to life. You should be very proud of what you created.
Certificates will be sent home tomorrow, but for now, a huge well done to you all! 👏🧱✨
Onto third place….

🥇 First place goes to Tabi, Eleanor, Lucia and Eliza!
Your build was absolutely genius! From the windmill that spun to help propel it to its impressive height, to the creativity and teamwork you showed throughout, you did a truly terrific job.
Most importantly, you worked together brilliantly as a team and should be incredibly proud of what you achieved.
Certificates will be sent home tomorrow, but for now, a huge congratulations and very well done to all four of you! 👏🧱✨
Now, on to our second-place team… 🥈👀
