Last week I was working in 4 degrees with 5 layers on feeling the rough side of my vocation - a week later it's 17 degrees and I've got my strong independent woman biceps out in a vest! What a difference clear blue sky and sunshine makes to our soul. Today my inner Spring sprung🤩

Thanks to the ever-strange laws of magazine printing, the Box River News once again finds itself wishing you a Happy New Year while you're probably still wrapping your pigs in blankets. The January 2026 issue has landed early. We apologise to absolutely no-one.
As ever, a huge thanks goes to everyone across the Box River villages who have contributed stories, events, photos, notices and general local brilliance over the past year.
