⚽🏆 Maxim Community Schools Cup 2026 🏆⚽

What a fantastic morning we had yesterday at the annual Maxim Community Schools Cup 2026, delivered in partnership with AFC Sudbury and proudly sponsored by Impact Lawyers. 🙌🏼

Despite the very warm conditions, over 100 local Year 5 and 6 children from 10 primary schools came together for a brilliant morning of football, teamwork and sportsmanship. 👊

The knockout stages provided plenty of excitement, with both semi-finals going all the way to penalties:
⚽ Wells Hall vs Clare – Clare progressed on penalties
⚽ Acton vs St Gregory’s – St Gregory’s progressed on penalties

In the 3rd place play-off, Acton secured victory over Wells Hall.

The final saw St Gregory’s produce an excellent performance to defeat Clare 2-0, becoming our Maxim Community Schools Cup 2026 Champions! 🏆👏

A huge thank you to all the schools, teachers, parents, volunteers and supporters who helped make the event such a success. Special thanks also to Waitrose & Partners for kindly donating ice lollies, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all the children and staff in the hot weather! 🍦☀️

While it’s always nice to win, the day was all about giving children the opportunity to play football, make memories, represent their schools (get out of school!) and most importantly, have fun. 😁

Well done to everyone who took part – we look forward to organising next year without our Girls & Mixed Tournaments!

🌟 WELLS HALL SCHOOL FETE 🌟

We are very excited to be attending the Friends of Wells Hall School Summer fete today! 🤩

Just a reminder to all of our after school dance club and weekly Street Dance parents about the arena performance at 5.15pm! 🖤

We would love to see as many of our weekly Maxim Dancers there as possible!

There is also have a football skills demo at 5pm with Coach Callum that all Children are welcome to join in with! ⚽️

The fete is 3.30-6pm and there is lots of exciting things going on - face painting, bar, inflatables, our football shoot-out, bbq, stalls, raffle, plus lots more!

We’re delighted to once again host this fantastic community event in partnership with AFC Sudbury, and this year we’re incredibly grateful to Impact Lawyers for their generous sponsorship and support.
