Amazingly this morning we had 5 very good golfers all on top form today . Aubrey Chambers our current record holder for 18 holes at 57 was equaled today by David Marshall who was playing alongside Aubrey ,Richard Savery,Tony Shaddock and Jason Cade. David was the winner today at 57 for 18 holes with all other players scoring under or just 1 over par, some players fairly new to the game ,but playing very regularly which has helped them perform the quality they did today .
Well done all men,but huge congratulations to David Marshall an absolute legend of Old Joes . `Persistence gets results ` said David when interviewed after his outstanding game ,but we think there was a lot of talent there as well .

Competition results today. Winner Amazing round from David Marshall Score 60 ,48 points making two competition records . David was on excellent form with 10 other competitors on his heels. 2nd place was Paul Brown score 65 ,48 points.Third place went to Zac score65,points 45, and 4th place was Tony Shaddock score 67, 44 points. All these four went home with cash prizes and very satisfied with their golf today . Better luck next time to the rest of the field.
Nearest the pin was a rollover netting David Clarke £20 for a great shot .
