🥚🐦⬛ WHAT A SPECIAL SURPRISE 🐦⬛🥚
We’ve been so excited to discover that one of our feathered friends has chosen to make our nursery her home – she’s built a little nest right on top of one of the children’s wheel barrows.
The children are absolutely bursting with excitement as they’ve watch her sitting gently on her eggs. They’ve been so caring and gentle, always checking in quietly to make sure she’s ok and they’re all talking about when the little chicks will arrive!
The best part? Our little ones decided to make her a special drink of water too – they used our mud kitchen saucepans as her very own drink holder, making sure she has everything she needs to stay happy and comfortable while she waits!
It’s been such a wonderful lesson in kindness, care and respecting nature. We’re all looking forward to watching this beautiful journey unfold together 🥰

The role of a key person is fundamental to a child’s development. They are dedicated Early Years Educators who build secure emotional bonds with their key children and families. This trusted relationship is essential. When children feel secure, their brain is primed for exploration and learning.

💦 There is nothing quite like water play on a wet or sunny day! 💦
As children pour, splash and explore, they are developing important skills including co-ordination, problem-solving and early maths concepts - all through play!
Most importantly, they have been having fun, building confidence and making wonderful memories. 💛
