Well done to this year’s cohort - who achieved 3 times the number of GCSE 9 grades (the top possible grade) this year! 🙌🙌🙌

Students in Sudbury were applauded for showing “commitment and ambition throughout their studies”, as they picked up their GCSE results this morning.

It was fantastic to see our alumni Year 11 students today collecting their results! Huge congratulations to a fantastic cohort. They have tripled the number of grade 9s with some really impressive results opened today! Well done - we are so proud of you! 👏 🙌😀 Please stay in touch and keep us posted on all the amazing things you get up to next… the world is your oyster! 🌍 🦪 😀

We hope you are all having a wonderful summer! Just a quick reminder that GCSE results can be collected tomorrow morning between 9am and 10am from the Curve. We’re really looking forward to seeing you all! 😀

All students have the chance to put their blue tickets for outstanding work or effort into a weekly, termly or yearly prize pot - HUGE congratulations to Jack in Year 8, who won this year’s prize from the annual ticket draw! 🏆 🙌

Year 9 Graduation – Class of 2026
On Friday 17th July, our Year 9 student community will come together to celebrate the end of Key Stage 3 and mark this important milestone as the Class of 2026.
We look forward to acknowledging the amazing three years our students have shared throughout Key Stage 3, celebrating their achievements, growth, and memories as a year group. It will be a wonderful opportunity to reflect on their journey so far and look ahead with excitement as they prepare to begin the next stage of their education in Key Stage 4. We are proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to celebrating together.

Year 9 and 10 athletes went to Bury last week and performed brilliantly, winning a number of different events, showing just how fantastic our students are! Added to that our sports leaders were excellent as usual as timekeepers and officials for the event! A massive well done to all!

After an amazing day of walking, the students had plenty of time to play some games!
As a special treat, and because it doesn’t happen very often, they were treated to a screening of the football, Mr King enjoyed it old school on a wind up radio!
After a later than expected evening the students were still all in good spirits for today’s walk taking in the Bures dragon. Very well done to all the students and well earned rest this evening. Apart from ‘Bird Vision’ as they are preforming this evening.

Our Silver DofE students are having a great time! Another hot day but all did amazingly well and were very happy for their dinner after a long day of walking.
