WILD EXPLORERS π¦π’
Our wild week got off to a great start today, with a visit from a Baby Tortoise and a Bearded Dragon!
The children listened so well, learning about how to care for these special animals, and learning fascinating facts about them.
π’ Did you know, a tortoise can feel you stroking their shell? They can also drink through their tail!
π¦ Did you know, the bearded dragon is native to Australia? They make great pets, but take a lot of looking after. They also have a 'third eye' on the top of their head! It can sense light and movement which helps them know when a predator could attack from above them.
Thank you to our friends for bringing their pets in, and to Blaze the bearded dragon and Arteta the baby tortoise for being such great guests!
