We were very grateful for the cable drums that were donated recently to our preschool but we are still looking for a few more.

If you have any of these drums or know somebody that might, please consider donating them to our preschool so we can continue to enhance our setting.

We are working hard to refresh and update our Early Years Unit and are looking for wooden cable wire reels to up-cycle and use across our environment.

If you have any of these reels or know somebody that might, please consider donating them to our unit so we can continue on our quest.

Calling all parents of two year olds looking for a preschool. We are delighted to announce that we will be extending our preschool intake to include two year olds in the New Year.

We had a very exciting end to our week with a whole school visit to the pantomime. Our children had two things to remember, to listen and follow adult instructions and to have fun.

They certainly remembered the first point and we are exceptionally proud of all our children from preschool to Year 4 for their exemplary behaviour throughout the morning (the staff weren’t too bad either 😉).

As far as the second point goes, we can confirm that they certainly had fun, it took some time for our ears to recover.

Just another day at Studham Academy

It’s the pantomime today, we’re going on the bus,
Listen to the grownups, no one wants a fuss,
Hold hands with your partner, keep in the line,
Watch where you’re going and everything will be fine.

Take off your coat and put it on the chair,
When the show begins wave your hands in the air,
Cheer all the heroes, get involved with their fight,
And when you see the villain, boo with all your might.

Widow Twanky was so funny, very big and loud,
Looking for another husband, picking Mr Macleod,
Mr Macleod was brilliant, joined in with all the fun,
Managed to stay in character until the show was done.

Our grownups were so happy, look how proud they are,
Said that every boy and girl deserved a Studham Star ⭐️,
But the treats were not over, there was still more to come,
Christmas festivities back at school hosted by our mums.

A huge thank you to our wonderful PTFA for supporting our visit to the pantomime yesterday and for putting on the Christmas activities during the afternoon. Your help and support means so much to the school and our children.

Our children had a wonderful time on Friday celebrating Children in Need as well as donating money to come to school in their own clothes.

They listened carefully when we explained why the charity exists and the fantastic work Children in Need do.

Craft activities, dancing and biscuit decorating were all enjoyed by children and adults alike.

Wishing all our children and their families a wonderful half term. The children have been absolutely brilliant since we returned in September, looking forward to seeing what they achieve over the next few weeks.

Our first week back has been lovely, the children have settled back really well. They have enjoyed catching up with their friends and playing in the gorgeous sunshine. Looking forward to meeting our new starters next week. Hope all our Studham families have a wonderful weekend.
