Come and join our friendly and dedicated team of child-care professionals in our warm and friendly nursery setting in Chalford Hill. As a Group Leader you will be a kind and enthusiastic leader, passionate and committed to supporting all the children to achieve and develop their personal goals and have lots of fun!

With your passion for, and good knowledge of, Early Years education we’d love for you to join our team in creating and supporting a great indoor and outdoor learning environment for the children and build trusting relationships with their parents.

Ideally you will hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification and GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

We would love you to have a minimum of 3 years experience of working with young children within a supervisory role and excellent communication skills. We value our staff and their development and there is potential to undertake further training in skills relating to Early Years education.

Because we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children we adhere to safer recruitment procedures which will include identity and DBS checks.

Hours required – 9-5pm during school term times and also working during our holiday clubs (2 weeks in April and 3 weeks in August). Plus 5 inset days. Includes 30 mins paid lunch break.

Here at Puddleducks we love Mathematics!!!!

Here our children are undertaking different Maths based activities to encourage children to explore shapes and numbers through play.

We love to be outdoors and can’t resist a bit of messy play!

The children are exploring with ice, making bird feeders to feed our feathered friends this winter and are making tea with herbal tea bags and lemon squeezers.
