Welcome to the Rush Skatepark page, We are based at Unit 3 Brimscombe Port Industrial Estate, Stroud Gloucestershire GL5 2QQ. Consent forms will be required and these can be downloaded from our website along with terms & conditions. Under 16s will require parental consent. No consent form no entry. Consent forms will be available on the day. Under 12s need to accompanied by an adult. We strongly recommend that inexperienced riders and young children should not attempt to ride this park during this weekend, After school club will be available from 4.00-6pm from Tuesday to Friday. We strongly recommend safety equipment is used in this park. However helmets are compulsory in the foam pit, resi and jump track. RUSH SKATEPARK IS NOW SEARCHING FOR A BUILDING🏢

After the last few months of rebuilding the RUSH team and charity, we’re now in a position to start actively exploring our first options for a new premises.

We’re looking for a 20,000–35,000 sq ft building in Gloucestershire, ideally with:

• 7m+ ceiling height
• Parking
• Flexible condition — we’re willing to work with buildings that need refurbishment
• Lease, purchase or lease-to-buy options considered
• We’re also open to off-market, vacant or underused industrial buildings

And we’re putting this out there because we need your help finding it.

If you’re a landlord, commercial property agent, developer, property owner, business owner, council officer, or simply know someone who might have a suitable building, please get in touch.

As a registered charity, there are also different ways a building could potentially come to RUSH , including a full or partial donation of a property, a discounted sale, a long-term lease, a rent-free/discounted fit-out period, or another arrangement with a property owner. UK charity and HMRC guidance confirms that charities can receive gifts of land and buildings, and donors may be eligible for tax relief when qualifying property is gifted or sold to a charity below market value.

Of course, any property would need to go through proper trustee, legal, financial, building and planning due diligence to make sure it is genuinely in the charity’s best interests.

We don’t need you to have the perfect building ready to go.

🚨RUSH UPDATE🚨

Firstly, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who supported our last post. Over 50,000 people saw it, and the response, messages and feedback have been incredible. ❤️

RUSH — AN UPDATE.

Since the original RUSH Skatepark closed in August 2021, a lot has happened behind the scenes.

In 2022, RUSH was established as a charity with one goal — to create a new skatepark for our community.

After a long search, we found a potential site in Morton Valence, Gloucestershire. We genuinely believed this could be the way forward, and significant work went into progressing the project.

More than £50,000 was invested into things such as planning, architectural work, surveys, professional fees and other work required to move the project forward.

Unfortunately, despite all of that work, the project ultimately couldn’t move forward because of circumstances surrounding the land.

That was a huge setback for RUSH — financially, practically and in terms of momentum.

But there’s something else we need to own.

We didn’t communicate enough.

We understand why people have been frustrated. People donated, supported us and believed in what we were trying to achieve, and you deserved to know what was happening.

So this post is about being open about where we’ve been — and where we’re going.

RUSH is now entering a new chapter.

We’re rebuilding the organisation, bringing new people into the project and looking again at how we can make the skatepark happen.

There is still a lot of work ahead. We aren’t going to pretend otherwise.

But we’re giving it another go.

And this time, we want the community involved.

More updates.
More transparency.
More opportunities for you to have your say.
