Photo’s from last weeks work experience Common Soil community farm.

Common Soil is a community focused farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture and engagement. Learners had the chance to explore a variety of activities to develop teamwork, communication and work based skills in a supportive and natural environment.

Unfortunately today’s work experience had to be rescheduled due to the bad weather but our learners are very much looking forward to their next work experience session 😊🥔🥦🥕🧅🥬

Over the past few weeks, Chase learners have been working hard to complete their induction at SGS. They’ve also taken part in baseline assessments, which help identify clear starting points so staff can plan learning activities that develops knowledge and understanding and shows progression.

As part of World Mental Health Week, learners took time to reflect on what mental health means to them. They shared their thoughts and feelings by creating a ‘Connections Tree’, filled with their ideas and reflections 😍

New academic year, new energy!
The Chase team at SGS kicked off the year by putting staff wellbeing first

Instead of jumping straight back into routines, we pressed pause. Our music therapist Sharon King led a creative session filled with rhythm, laughter, and positivity.

Because when our staff feel good, our whole community thrives 🙌. Here’s to a year of support, joy, and success together!
