Bring them along to our special Gruffalo’s Tea Party for a magical morning of outdoor play, nature exploration, and imagination!

This session is open to everyone in the community—your family does not need to be part of The Rosary School to join the fun.

🌟We are delighted to announce that we, The Rosary Catholic Primary School, have achieved the School Games GOLD Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year. 🌟

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

Our sporting achievements this year include:
A successful Inter-house Sports competition
Every child in every year group taking part in competitive events
Offering a wider range of sports and activities than ever before
An increase in the number of Year 6 pupils leaving being able to swim at least 25m
Winning the Duathlon event run by Atlas Sports

With a total of young people competing in local inter-school competitions this year, we are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport, including those young volunteers, leaders and officials who made our competitions possible.

As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded this year.

We look forward to applying once again in 2027!

Join us for some outdoor exploring, den building, forest activities, and marshmallows over the fire!
We have 4 dates available for primary school aged children to come along and enjoy the great outdoors in a secure and safe environment with a fully trained forest school leader.

🌟 Celebrating Success at The Rosary Catholic Primary School 🌟

We are delighted to celebrate the excellent outcomes achieved by our Year 1 and Year 4 pupils this year in the Phonics Screening Check and Multiplication Tables Check, achieving above the national average in both tests.

These results are a reflection of the hard work, determination and positive attitudes shown by our pupils every day. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and the resilience they have shown throughout the year.

A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers and support staff, whose commitment, expertise and encouragement help every child to flourish and reach their full potential.

We would also like to thank our families for their continued support and partnership with the school. Together, we create the foundations for success.

Most importantly, congratulations to our wonderful pupils. You should be immensely proud of yourselves. You are a credit to your families, our school and the wider community.
