Oak class are always very excited to visit the Miserden Library in the village hall. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to visit such a great library, right on our doorstep. It is open on Wednesdays until 4pm and is a small but very well-stocked collection - the children really love the cosy space. Groups of children rotate these Wednesday visits and books can be checked out for a month. Happy reading!

We’ve had two swift boxes installed on the school this morning. The boxes and installation were paid for with a grant from Stroud Swift Group. They also installed a swift box and caller on the house next to the shop. Let’s keep an eye open for any new residents!

It may be scorchio outside, but if you pop over to Miserden to take part in the Nature Trail, there are 🍦ice creams and cold drinks at the shop, and cold beers 🍻 at the pub! Trail guides are available here for £3.

We are having a lovely day at Robinswood Hill Country Park with . Pupils have enjoyed a nature detective session in the woodland, learning to look for signs of life, including invertebrates, footprints and animal skulls! We’ve had our lunch and a run around in the sunshine and now we’re off to do some pond dipping to see what we can find…!
