The Adventure Club

The Adventure Club The Adventure Club is a holiday play scheme for 3 - 12 years. It is held at Minchinhampton School.

Children can get sporty, art and crafty, cause general chaos and meet new friends.

Hello everyone,

I can’t believe tomorrow would have been the last day of summer 2020.

It has been the most surreal summer ever and I have missed the hustle and bustle that The Adventure Club brings. I know staff have missed you all to as we’ve reminisced on socially distance catch ups to keep our spirits going.

I hope you’re all well and enjoyed your summer and are ready to start back at school. Stay safe and I hope October allows us to meet up once more. X

Hello everyone,

Due to the governments restrictions from the 4th July, I have made the decision to not open for the summer holidays. This hasn’t been an easy decision but trying to maintain bubbles for groups of children when they will be coming and going for the six weeks is just not possible.

I’m hoping October bring lighter restrictions where we can get back together as the adventure club family! Take care x

Battlesport trip (sorry no photos as too busy fighting at the enemy) and then to crazy golf. Most of us completed the 12 holes in under 100. Some (Stan) so close!!!!

I’m not very good at this as the children keep me busy but we had a trip to cattle country today and it has been another great day and returning with the children I left with. We have walked miles and they have been sliding, running and climbing all day.

Hello all,
This holiday is just whizzing away. I’m sorry I haven’t put many photos up as I’ve not had the time due to everyone keeping us busy.
Two weeks down and we begin week 3 tomorrow. Our first Archery session was a huge success last week and everyone managed to not arrow any passerby’s.
Martial Arts is also going well and everyone pushing themselves. Tennis and football equally as popular and children really having a go at all the activities.

Hello! Day 2 and some are enjoying a trip to Slimbridge. We have pond dipped, know all about the otters and flamingoes and feed ourselves. We’re enjoying some chill out on the adventure area (a must as we belong to the adventure club) and then off for an ice cream and a paddle.
Not sure what they’re doing back at the ranch but I know they’ll be up to all sorts.

Our final day at Adventure Club for this holiday and although not many we’re still having lots of fun inside and out. Dinosaurs are awaiting security checks before boarding the space rocket to the moon. Played lots of games, built lots of models and climbed and climbed and climbed today. Finally a ring of hands showing new and old friendships made this holiday. 💖❣️💖❣️

Several hours into Thursday at Adventure Club and we are very active.
