Gloucestershire County Council has identified the need to establish a new 60 place special school for children aged 4-11 years with Moderate and Additional Learning Difficulties for the academic year 2023/24 in the school building formerly occupied by Severn View Primary Academy in Stroud.

Dear Parents and Carers

I hope you have had a good weekend and thank you once again for all your support and encouragement last week.

Latest government advice updated last Friday stressed the importance of staying at home. We understand that this is difficult and that trying to balance a home life, work life and homeschooling can be really tough.

We will be reviewing the school places we are currently offering to Critical Worker families this week to ensure that if at all possible you are still keeping your child at home as per this latest amendment. This will increase the safety of both yourself, your child and the pupils and staff that are still attending school. The key message is that we must limit our contact to as few people as possible.

We appreciate your support with this so do be in touch if you find your child at home without a device or if you are struggling to access your child?s daily virtual learning offer.?
