🐄 From Strode College to farm vet!

We’re delighted to celebrate former Strode student Rebecca Vining, who is now beginning her career as a farm vet at Shepton Vets Farm, bringing her passion for farm animal medicine back to Somerset.

After studying at Strode, Rebecca went on to study Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh, gaining hands-on experience on local farms and developing a particular passion for youngstock health and dairy calves.

Her dedication has also been recognised with the Boehringer Ingelheim Farm Vet of the Future Award — a fantastic achievement! 🏆

We’re incredibly proud to see where Rebecca’s journey has taken her.

Could Strode be the start of your journey? Join us at our Open Evening on Thursday 15 October to discover our courses and opportunities. Register now via our website: https://www.strodecollege.ac.uk/events/all-events/october-2026-open-event-strode-college/

📱✨ A new chapter in digital learning!

We’re proud to be launching a new digital initiative, giving every first-year A Level student joining Strode College this year their own free iPad.

The devices will support learning across all subjects, from accessing resources and completing assignments to research and collaboration.

By providing every student with the technology they need, we’re helping to remove barriers and create equal opportunities to succeed.
