Save Strode College Day Nursery

Despite our best efforts, and collecting over 1,200 signatures, our beloved Strode Nursery will close its doors for the final time on 10th July.
We know how devastating this decision is, and truly feel so awful for the staff, parents, and children who have enjoyed all that Strode Nursery has had to offer over the years.
Even though we made contact with news outlets, local press, and saw Sarah D**e MP share her support, we’ve had very little in the way of responses, explanation, or feedback.
We just wanted to take the opportunity during these final weeks to thank absolutely everyone who helped to support this cause and try to prevent the closure of a truly outstanding nursery.
We also wanted to show our appreciation for the years of dedication from such a wonderful team, in a fantastic setting - Emma, Gemma, Kris, Amy, and the team, your care and kindness to hundreds of children has been invaluable to countless families and you will all be so sorely missed ❤️

Our incredible nursery team has worked hard to renew our original 2023 Mark of Achievement and we remain an inclusion friendly setting.
Thank-you to Dingley's Promise for such a great training programme.

In the last 24 hours we've been made aware UCS also tried to close the nursery setting at their Taunton campus eight years ago, under similar circumstances. As far as we know, the nursery team there fought back against their decision and won. Don’t lose hope, let’s work together to make the change 💪🏻
