Sending our Year 6 Leavers so much luck for their futures. 💚

Today we have enjoyed Well-being Wednesday. We have learnt about different ways to relax our minds whilst also finding ways to challenge ourselves. We enjoyed rock climbing (270 Climbing Park), fitness (with the fabulous Ben and Elliot from Alveston Manor Hotel), archery, mindful colouring, meditation, painting, Lego, computing and a whole school Teddy Bear’s Picnic on the field at lunch. That part was truly magical for the soul. We have smashed our charity target for Birmingham Children’s Hospital and have raised £1065. Thank you!!!! We have had a wonderful day and in doing so we have helped an amazing charity. There is still time to donate if you would like to.

Tomorrow is Well-Being Wednesday. Children need to wear PE kit. Please bring a teddy and a blanket for our Teddy Bear’s Picnic for B*H. Sponsor your child here for our big fundraiser to say thank you to this incredible hospital doing wonderful work every single day for children all around us!

🏃‍♀️We LOVED Sports Day 2026! 🏃 We saw so many sports on show and lots of children really 🌟 shining 🌟 during their favourite day of the year. Congratulations to 💛OTHELLO YELLOW💛, our team winners this year 🏆. Photos and a write up will be in our newsletter on Friday.

Our amazing willow caterpillar made it to the wall today. This was made during ArtsWeek with Wayside Willow. What a wonderful addition to our school.

More team work and bravery on show at our residential today. A huge well done Year 6 for your fantastic efforts this week. And a massive thank you to our amazing team of adults who, not only gave up their time to join the residential, but also joined in wholeheartedly.
