Everyone has settled into their new classrooms and is already getting back into the swing of school life.

We can't wait to welcome all our pupils back to SPS tomorrow for the start of the new term. We hope you're just as excited as we are!

The classrooms are ready, the staff are back in, and there's plenty to look forward to over the coming weeks. We're also looking forward to meeting our new pupils joining us this term!

SPS Speech Day 🎉

Wednesday finished the term off perfectly. It was Speech Day for all of our SPS pupils, where family, friends and guests joined us to celebrate all of the pupils' achievements and successes over the course of the year.

It was a wonderful event at Stratford Town Hall, the perfect way to finish the term and celebrate all that the children have accomplished in 2025/26!

Prep 5 & 6 had a brilliant day out at the Black Country Museum! 🚌

From a bumpy bus ride to learning how bricks were made by hand, there was so much to discover.

The museum brings over 250 years of history to life, from the Industrial Revolution right through to post-war Britain with more than 80 reconstructed shops, houses and workshops to explore.

Thank you to The Black Country Living Museum, our pupils had the best day!

A bird's eye view (literally!) of the little piece of magic that happened at SPS last Thursday evening. In true Stratford-upon-Avon fashion, we turned our playground into an outdoor theatre as an alternate venue, after postponing the previous week due to the heat.

And what a theatre it was! Under stunning blue skies and framed by the iconic wisteria, our pupils delivered a fantastic show full of laughs, songs, an emotional moment or two, and all-round entertainment. We are so proud of all our wonderful pupils for putting on such a spectacular performance - something we are sure will go down in SPS history!

We may have to make our 'Performance in the Playground' an annual tradition... 😁

🏆 Exciting news! Stratford Prep has been commended as Small School of the Year at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2026!

Our al fresco performance of Aladdin Trouble is due to begin shortly - and what a stunning evening for it! The SPS playground has been transformed into an outdoor theatre (we are in Stratford-upon-Avon afterall!) and a group of excited pupils are getting ready to perform. We can't wait! 🎭✨

Before things got all a bit too hot this week, we were able to enjoy another fantastic SPS Sports Day!

Huge congratulations to all the SPS community for a super day of energy, teamwork, and friendly competition. It was a wonderful atmosphere and lovely to see the children (and parents!) enjoying every moment. 🙌

A huge thank you to all our staff, families and Arnold Lodge Sports Ambassadors for all their work to make the day a success, and a special thank you to Mrs Thomas for all her hard work. 💙

A particularly hot day for a particularly hot activity! 🌋🔥

Prep 3 & 4 have kicked off their Geography topic in the best way, building volcanoes using papier-mâché.

It was creative, hands-on, and very messy… but that's half the fun!

We can't wait to see the finished results over the coming days!
