Woodwind and Brass Instrument repairs and Accessories. Clarinet and Saxophone tuition
I fell in love with the idea of making a clarinet while I was still at school. I began playing the clarinet at the age of nine and was always keen on the idea of teaching. Later when I was in my mid teens and thinking more seriously about a career in music I heard about a course where you could learn to make and repair clarinets and decided that this was the career for me. After studying Woodwind Making and Repair for three years at Newark Technical College, I found a job in The Music House shop in Stratford-upon-Avon (now called Stratford Musicroom) in 1989, where as well as learning about the music trade, I built up my repair and teaching business and managed Music In Print’s UK repair operation. I became self employed in 1995 continuing to operate my business from within the Musicroom Store in Rother Street Stratford.
