If you have bags of used clothing etc they can be dropped into the bank in the grounds of Donemana Primary School which is emptied on a regular basis.

Please do not leave bags at the clothing banks in the recycling centre as they are both full at the moment.

The management committee wish to address the speculation that has been rife over the past week.
The very difficult decision to withdraw from the EA pre school programme for September 2024 is due to the ongoing recruitment and retention of qualified and experienced staff.
Our committee felt they could not in good conscience offer places to children with no guarantee of been able to secure staff. A decision to do so would have left those children with no other options for September, something we felt was unjust to everyone who had applied.
The issue of staffing is not isolated to ourselves and other groups have all had staffing issues recently. This is a widespread issue within the early years sector throughout Northern Ireland. With many other groups of late being left with no option to close.
There has been no decision to close Woodlands at the moment and the committee continue to explore other options.
