🌟 Knockavoe Summer Scheme – Part 2 🌟

What an incredible few days we’ve had! 💙

Part 2 of our Knockavoe Summer Scheme has been enjoyed by everyone, with smiles, laughter and unforgettable memories made every day.

From the Pamper Bus offering manicures, pedicures, facials and hair styling, to Crafty Teddies, face painting, Core Kids, Painted pig, thrilling amusement rides, ice cream, sweet treats and so much more – there has been something for everyone to enjoy! 🧸🎨🎢🍦

We’re excited to finish our Summer Scheme tomorrow with a special screening of Minions (pupil choice 😍) the perfect ending to an amazing week 🎬✨

A huge thank you to every member of staff who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the magic happen. Your enthusiasm, care and dedication created such special experiences for our pupils.

And, of course, the biggest thank you goes to our wonderful pupils. Your smiles, laughter and excitement are what make Knockavoe Summer Scheme so special. We hope you’ve made memories to treasure for years to come! 💛🌈

Summer Scheme Part 1 came to an end today, and what an amazing time we had! 💛

There were so many smiles, lots of laughter, and memories made. From face painting, teddy making, kite making, bouncy castles and bubbles to our fantastic Core Kids sessions with Miss Rachel, every day was packed with fun and excitement.

Our adventures also included a trip to the cinema to watch Toy Story 5, a brilliant day at Kidz Farm, and, of course, plenty of ice cream treats along the way! 🍦🐄🪁🎬

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Summer Scheme Part 1 so special. We hope you all had the best time and made memories to last a lifetime.

We were delighted to welcome Miss Rachel and the Core Kids team for a fun-filled session packed with music, singing, dancing and movement.

There were smiles all around as everyone got involved, making memories and enjoying a wonderful start to the summer. Thank you, Miss Rachel and Core Kids—we can’t wait to welcome you back! 💙🎵💃🕺

As another school year comes to an end, we would like to take a moment to thank some wonderful teachers who are moving on from Knockavoe School - Kirsty, Joanne, Ruth, Ewan, Tracey and Ryan.

Thank you for the care, kindness, dedication and enthusiasm you have shown to our pupils throughout your time with us. Every smile shared, every lesson taught, every word of encouragement and every achievement celebrated has helped make Knockavoe the special place it is.

While we are sad to see you go, we are incredibly grateful for the difference you have made to the lives of our pupils, families and colleagues. We wish each of you every success and happiness in the next chapter of your journey.

Remember, once you're part of the Knockavoe family, you'll always have a place here. Our doors will always be open, and we hope our paths will cross again in the future - though in Ryan's case - we certainly hope not in a professional context (as he undertakes his career change from classroom to courtroom, as a solicitor!) 😂🫣

As another wonderful school year comes to a close, we’d like to thank our incredible pupils, families and staff for making it such a special one. We are so proud of everything we’ve achieved together and of the kindness, resilience and joy that fill our school every day.

We wish everyone in our Knockavoe family a happy, healthy and restful summer holiday. We hope it’s filled with fun, laughter and precious time together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting year in September.

At Knockavoe, we pride ourselves on being a Gold Rights Respecting School, and truly believe that EVERY child across the globe, deserves access to education. (Article 28).

We are pleased to have supported Lusaka Le Chéile 26 and are immensely proud of our esteemed colleague and teacher, Judy, for her volunteering to participate.

It's clear to see from the posts shared and the photos that their presence and support in Lusaka will have a lasting impact on many children and young people there.

Move over The Bill, The Bull is in town instead!

We were delighted to have Constable Bull, from the Police Service of Northern Ireland attend Knockavoe today to engage our pupils all about how the police work to keep people safe in the community and online.

Our pupils really enjoyed the sessions and loved hearing all about the special work that the police dogs do!
