We cannot believe the summer break is nearly finished.
We are looking forward to welcoming all the new children and parents for the start of our new term.

Committee, staff and family members of Brambly hedge community playgroup send out their condolences to all of heathers family. Heather volunteered and helped us out a lot when needed. She was great with the children and other staff members. Always smiling and having a chat with everyone. She was loved by all.

Cummings Heather: 9th July 2026, peacefully after a short illness. Late of 51 Woodend Road. Dearly beloved wife of the late David. Devoted mother of Richard, Joanne, Rachel and Adam. Dear mother-in-law of Donna, Jonny, James and Michelle. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral service in Leckpatrick Presbyterian Church on Sunday 12th July at 1pm followed by burial in the adjoining burial ground. Heather’s home private to friends and family.
Family flowers only, donations if desired (cheques payable) to Action for Children c/o Joanne Rankin, 51 Woodend Road, Strabane BT82 8LF
Sweet are the memories silently kept of a mother we loved and will never forget.

🎓 **Our Little stars Have Graduated!** 🎓

What an incredibly special day we had celebrating the graduation of our amazing children! It has been such a privilege to watch each and every one of you grow in confidence, make new friends, learn new skills, and become the wonderful little people you are today.

We are so proud of everything you have achieved. Although it's sad to say goodbye, we know you are all more than ready for your next big adventure.

To all of our parents and families, thank you for trusting us with your precious children and for your continued support throughout the year. We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who sent in photos - they've helped us capture some truly special memories, and we loved sharing them with everyone.

To our graduates, keep being kind, curious, brave, and believe in yourselves. We know you'll do amazing things as you begin your journey into Primary 1.

Good luck, boys and girls—we'll miss your smiling faces, but we'll always be cheering you on. 🌟❤️

🐷🦙 Farm Trip Fun at Sprout Farm! 🐮🐰🐐🐑
What a fantastic day we had at spoutfarmstrabane

The children enjoyed meeting lots of friendly animals, including alpacas, pigs, cows, rabbits, goats and sheep. There were plenty of smiles as they explored the farm, played in the play park and had great fun on the bouncy castle.

We were also delighted to spend the day with our friends from St. Mary's Pre-School Cloughcor, as part of the Aspire Peace Project. The children enjoyed playing together, making new friendships and sharing lots of wonderful experiences.

After a busy morning of exploring and playing, everyone enjoyed their lunch before heading back for one last play. It was a day filled with laughter, learning and memories that will last a long time.

A huge thank you to Spout Farm for making us feel so welcome. We all headed home tired, happy and full of stories to tell our families! ❤️🌟

Today at Brambly Hedge Community Playgroup we had a very special day celebrating gardening with grandparents 🌱💚

We were delighted to welcome all of our wonderful grandparents into the playgroup to spend the morning gardening, planting flowers, decorating plant pots and enjoying lots of outdoor play together.

The children loved getting their hands messy, exploring nature and sharing such special moments with their families 🌼🪴

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and tasty refreshments enjoyed by everyone throughout the morning ☕🍰

A huge thank you to all of our grandparents for coming along and helping to make today so memorable for the children. We loved having you with us! 🌈💚

Today we went for a visit to Primary 1, we met our New teacher and classroom assistants and had so much fun!

These visits allow for an easier transition in September and allow the children to become familiar with their new surroundings.

We can’t wait to go back over again next week and see some more ☺️

What an amazing experience we have had in the playgroup over the past few weeks watching our caterpillars grow into beautiful butterflies! 🐛🦋

The children loved feeding them, observing them closely each day and learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly. We watched in excitement as the caterpillars formed their cocoons and patiently waited to see what would happen next.

Today was the very special day where we finally released our butterflies into nature! Some of the children were even brave enough to hold them gently before they flew away. We also enjoyed painting beautiful butterfly and caterpillar pictures to celebrate everything we learned. 🎨

A lovely hands-on learning experience full of curiosity, wonder and excitement for everyone involved! 💛

Practice for Sports Day is well underway! 🏃‍♂️🏅

We can’t wait for the 4th of June to show everyone how hard we’ve been practising — but most importantly, how much fun we’re having along the way! 🌟

Parents, make sure those running shoes are ready too… the mummy and daddy race is coming! 👟😂

What a great week of treats from chocolate covered fruit skewers to chocolate birthday cake celebrating a special boy!!
