Wishing everyone a wonderful start to the new term ✨ Lots of luck to those starting at big school for the first time 🥰 Nursery will be very strange without our big ones 🥹
After a long Summer holiday, I have realise that morning routines are something I usually dread
Our children don't just watch us, they reflect u and I can see this is very true when my kids watch and reflect on my, sometimes, frantic approach to the morning. I plan to keep the morning routine flowing with smiles (hopefully) and saw this 'Wake Up Songs for September' chart and wanted to share with you all.

Let's start the day with positive energy 🎉

🎨 Happy Messy Paint day 🎨

The children all had the opportunity to explore the paint using a variety of tools; spray bottles, fly swats, rollers, brushes, fingers, hands, feet, balls etc.
Large scale painting helps to develop gross motor skills, to build crucial arm and shoulder muscles. Working their arms all the way down to their finger tips, developing their fine motor skills and dexterity using the spray bottles and finer brushes. Who knew these were all vital pre-writing skills 🤷🏼‍♀️🥰

🥰 What a wonderful end to a very busy week....our raffle prize winners were drawn and almost all of the prizes have now found their way to the winners 🏆🥳

✨ We wanted to thank each and every one of you for supporting our Christmas raffle! We have never had such a huge volume of support from so many families before. This also includes some lovely parents from Wetheringsett Primary School and Wetheringsett Manor School✨

🎉🎉🎉Our GRAND total.........£526🤯🎉🎉🎉 amazing!!! This will be spent on our garden area in the coming months, watch this space to see how we revamp the nursery garden.

Life saving skills are something that we think all parents should have access to as well. Please use this information yourself or share to others who you think will be interested 🐯

CALLING ALL PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS AND CARERS: Our 2025 basic life support, choking and education evening dates are available to book!

These evenings are designed for parents, grandparents and caregivers to learn what care can be given to a baby in the case of an emergency. These evenings are run by Georgie, who is the lead educator across the maternity department. And best of all: these evenings are provided completely free of charge!

Please email [email protected] to book your place. If you are attending the evenings at Hospital and will require parking, please include your registration number in the email.

After a busy day of playing and learning, we tried our new projector and snuggled down to watch Stick Man and then the Gruffalo's Child. We are hoping to utilise the projector to support your child's interests. We have previously been known to watch space shuttle launches, whales swimming in the ocean, volcanoes erupting and more. The projector will allow us opportunities (when it calls for it, but not all the time...screen time limitations☺️) to explore interests together and inspire curiosity in others 🥰 It will also be handy when we can snuggle up to watch a Christmas film or two before the end of term 🎄

We wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has bought tickets for our Christmas Raffle so far. We will be doing the draw on Monday 16th December. We have raised an incredible ✨£329✨so far. You are all fantastic, thank you 🎄🎉
