On Tuesday the school were treated to a concert from all the years that take part in Band Academy music lessons. What a wonderful showcase this was and so lovely to see the skills and confidence these children have developed over the school year 🎸πŸ₯πŸŽΌ

We had 'The Storyteller' come into Year 4 and she taught us some traditional tales. We made puppets and wrote scripts to complete one of the stories that she told us. We performed our plays to each other. We also made story flags.

These will all be displayed as part of the storytelling festival at The Food Museum, Stowmarket between 19th - 21st June.

This week is sports week at Abbot's Hall, whilst the weather was not in our favour today, year 6 still managed to do their workshops with all of the school. The children got to choose between different activities. These were boxing, axe throwing, basketball, tennis, football, athletics, dance, dodgeball, tag rugby and an obstacle course. We could tell everyone was having a great time trying something they may not usually choose to do. Well done year 6 πŸ˜€βš½οΈπŸ€πŸŽΎπŸŽ½πŸ†πŸŒŸ

Foundation recently had a trip to Hollowtrees Farm. They had loads of fun and made treasured memories with their classmates. They got to feed some animals, learn about farming and had lots of fun in the play park. One of the best parts was going on Casey the Tractor!
