This week, we were delighted to welcome West End In Schools to Finborough for a fantastic day of Shakespearean fun!

Children in Prep 3 to Prep 6 spent the day working with a professional performer, exploring Shakespeare’s language, characters and storytelling through an exciting ‘Play in a Day’ workshop.

The day culminated in a brilliant performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, with our pupils taking to the stage and bringing the mischief of Shakespeare’s famous comedy to life.

Experiences like this are a huge part of what makes Performing Arts at Finborough so special. We are passionate about giving pupils opportunities to perform, create and work with professional artists from an early age, helping them develop confidence, creativity and a real love of the arts.

A big thank you to West End In Schools for a memorable day!

⚽ It was a busy afternoon of football on Monday, with the highlight being an impressive 3–1 victory over Heath Mount in the first round of our Independent Schools Football Association U13 Boys Bowl campaign.

Both teams were determined but a strong Finborough team performance saw the boys progress to the next round of the national competition!

Well done to everyone involved.

Finest 2026! 🎉

What a lovely way to spend a September afternoon. All the usual fun, music, cakes and community but just a little cooler than June!

Thank you to the brilliant Friends of Finborough who worked so hard to deliver Finfest and to all our staff and families who came to support and join in the fun.

Let us know your thoughts, when do you prefer Finest - June or September? Let us know in the comments 👇

Finfest this Saturday!!! 🎉

After having to postpone our summer celebration due to the heatwave, we’re really looking forward to getting everyone together for an afternoon of fun, food and festivities at the weekend.

Finfest will run from 1pm–5pm, and we’d love to see as many of our school families there as possible.

From ice-creams to crafts, entertainers to inflatables, there's something for everyone. Don't forget to drop your entries for the Finborough Bake-Off into the office on Friday or bring on the day.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
