Debenham Roundabout Preschool

Literature for the under-5s is the crucial foundation for cognitive, language, and emotional growth. Engaging with stories and picture books dramatically boosts a child's vocabulary, stimulates brain development, and introduces the social and moral fabric of the world in a safe, imaginative environment. We recently enjoyed a week looking at The Very Hungry Catterpiller. Look how our imaginations took off recreating the different foods from the story. The children recreated the story beautifully in picture. ☺️

Such a busy first half term. Last week was all about our emotions, the children enjoyed emercing themselves in learning about The Colour Monster. We are a nurture preschool, prioritising childrens social, emotional learning, building strong resiliant children ready for their journey into mainstream school. We still have a few spaces left for September, please do get in touch if you would like a preschool space.

Duck Race & Family Fun Day

What’s happening:

🆓 Free entry!

🦆Duck race heats throughout the afternoon. Grand finale at 3pm.

🌭🥞🍦BBQ, pancake truck and ice cream van!

🍺🥤Fully licensed bar serving soft and alcoholic drinks.

🛍️Stalls to get your shopping fix.
Grab a bargain at the pre-loved children’s stalls.

🏰⚽️Bouncy castles and football shoot out to keep the kids entertained.

🎶Music and other free kids activities. 🦆🖍️🚒

Important information:

💷 Many stalls and activities will be cash only.

🧺 Seating will be very limited so don’t forget your picnic blanket or camp chairs

🚗 There is no parking available on site for attendees. If you are able to please leave the car at home and walk! If not, then please park legally and considerately in the local area.

🦆 Ducks are still available to buy from Debenham Sports & Leisure, Webster’s Newsagents and The Deben Retreat!
Ducks and raffle tickets will also be available to buy outside Sir Robert Hitcham School on Thursday at 3pm 🦆

🥞 Mrs Crepe will be joining us with her yummy crepes. The only question is - do you go sweet or savoury?

🍦And it wouldn’t be a family fun day without a visit to the ice cream van. We look forward to having Mikey & Jordys Ice Cream parked up with us for the afternoon!
