👋 We’re Here to Listen

We want parents and carers to feel that they can always speak to us if they have a question, concern or something they would like to share.

A member of staff will be available outside the main school entrance and will be happy to listen and help where they can.

If your concern needs a longer or more private conversation, we will make sure it is passed on to the appropriate member of staff and arrange a suitable time to speak with you.

Thank you for continuing to work in partnership with us to support our children. 💙

📢 Invitation for Parents, Carers and the Stow Community

Ms Sheila Brown, an HM Inspector from Education Scotland, will visit Stow Primary School and ELC on Tuesday 20 October 2026 as part of the statutory consultation on the proposed closure of Fountainhall Primary School and ELC.

Ms Brown would like to hear the views of parents, carers and members of the Stow community about the proposal and its potential educational benefits. All perspectives are welcome, whether you support the proposal, oppose it or remain undecided.

The discussion will take place at Stow Primary School from 11:15 am to 12:00 pm. We are seeking a group of up to eight people.

If you would like to attend, please email the school office by Friday 9 October. If you cannot attend but would still like to share your views, please also contact the school office by emailing [email protected] and provide your name and telephone number so that we can pass your details to Ms Brown and ask about an alternative opportunity to speak with her.

If more than eight people wish to attend, we will liaise with Ms Brown about the arrangements.

Thank you for your support!
