The coach from Stourport, Bewdley and Kidderminster is now full but if you do not have a place, consider going down to London by train to support this important event. www.restorenaturenow.com

Looking forward to the Restore Nature now rally in London. The line-up for the entertainment at the end of the rally is looking as exciting as the rally itself.

Seasonal fun at Bishops Wood

Are you beginning to feel a little festive? Maybe you would like a sprinkle of outdoors in your festive period. Events coming up:
For the adults we have a Natural Wreath Making Session:
Friday 1st December 10 -1pm £35
This includes a walk around the grounds to collect your own materials and see the site. Then warm up in our cosy room with refreshments and create your natural wreath.
And For the Children we have a Winter Family Nature Day
Sunday 10th December 10 - 2pm £5 per child.
This includes Christmas crafts to take home, a winter elf trail and stories around the fire. Santa is very busy at this time of year so won't be at this event but looks forward to hearing all about the children playing in the woods.

A useful opportunity to improve our recycling

A useful opportunity to improve our recycling

Join us for this free talk at Kidderminster Library to learn about waste in and what you can do to reduce it at home.

The talk will address the following:
- What really happens to your black/grey bin residual waste
- The dos & don'ts of your kerbside recycling, as well as where less common items can be taken
- Why we should all make our own organic, rich compost at home and how to get started for free
- How to reduce waste by reusing instead of relying on single use items
- How to save money by repairing items like clothes, household appliances, tools, furniture, computers, phones etc
- Save £100s a year by throwing away less food waste
- And, finally, what if you already do everything you can? Then how about taking the next step in fighting waste by becoming the person who helps those around them in their street, school, group or village to make small changes that all add up to making a big difference!

Book your free ticket for the talk at either 4pm or 6pm on Tuesday 13th June by emailing Rob at [email protected] or speak to a member of library staff.

Free drinks and cake are provided, as well as free advice leaflets for those that would like them.

Can't make it? We'll be doing more talks in libraries across the county this year, so keep an eye on the Let's Waste Less page for announcements, or just get in touch with Rob at the email address above.
