Getting into shape isn't easy.
As I am sure you have noticed, getting in shape isn't easy.
ο Staying motivated all the time
ο Eating the right foods
ο Having to figure it all out by yourself which exercise works best.
ο Then comes the killer workouts
Watching your body shape,
ο Improve,
ο Stay the same,
ο Improve again (maybe),
ο Stay the same again, or move backwards.
ο Wondering if you're ever going to get the results, never mind hit your goals.
It's challenging doing everything on your own.
That's why every single day, I help guide people just like you to get into the best shape of their lives.
My job is to show you the simplest, most effective way to:
β’ Lose stubborn, unwanted body fat

A plan in place
I want to ask you a question.
And I want you to answer in the comments below as honestly as possible.
Have you got a plan to get fit and healthy?
One thing I do with all my clients is set out a plan of action before we begin.
Once we have a plan, I tell my clients to stick to it and focus on getting the basics right.
Part of the journey is making sure they completely switch off from any new stuff that might confuse the plan, give them conflicting advice, throw them off track, or distract them.
For at least a month or two, don't waste time learning about five other types of diets and training methods because that's likely to make you question what you're doing.
Instead, trust the process and do the work!
Put your trust in me. Trust my tried and tested system that has yielded impressive results for hundreds of clients before you.
And enjoy your journey and results.

I like chocolate just as much as you do
I like chocolate just as much as you do.
Of course, I do. Who isn't partial to that lovely warm, chocolaty goodness that surrounds and tempts us everywhere we go.
You can't even walk into a shop these days without being bombarded with tasty snacks and treats.
Most of the time, you don't even want chocolate. It's just something to snack on.
If you think that every person from the Olympic athlete to the regular gym-goer doesn't have these temptations put in front of them, you're wrong.
We're all human at the end of the day.
So why can't I say NO? I hear you cry?
Look at it this way
Whether you want to drop body fat or you want to get into that fantastic wedding dress you have been dreaming about for years, every decision you make along the way should trigger one question in the back of your mind,
"Will this help or hinder me from achieving my goal?"
At a certain point, sacrifices have to be made. And, if you are not willing to make those sacrifices when you need to, you will never reach your goals.
Whatever your goal, sacrifices will have to be made to achieve it.
Next time you are about to eat chocolate, grab a takeaway, have some drinks, ask yourself,
"Will this help me achieve my goal?"
If the answer is NO, then you know what to do!

Are your habits making you unhealthy?
Habits are the key to success when trying to lead a healthier lifestyle and control body weight.
We need to kick the old bad habits (habits that move us away from our goals) and gain new, better habits (habits that take us closer to our dreams).
Now, I know it isn't always easy creating new habits in your life.
But I consider myself to be in the business of changing habits.
Habits are routines of behaviour that are repeated regularly and tend to occur subconsciously. Yet, they are essential requirements for success, whether at work, in life, or fitness.
Unfortunately, it is easy to develop bad habits, and most of us have a variety of bad habits when it comes to food.
Do you reach for chocolate and sweets each evening while watching TV?
Do you reach for buns at the same time each day at work?
Do you drink excessive amounts of coffee at work?
Do you reach for soft drinks throughout the day?
If we can identify the habit loop, we can replace the bad habit with a better, healthier habit.
So how do I understand and then change a habit?
The first step is to identify the routine that triggers the habit. This is often the easiest step. For example, if you have a coffee each day at 3 pm, you also have biscuits.
What's the reward from this routine? The reward is the sugar spike from the biscuits.
What's the cue for this routine? The cue is 3 pm coffee!
What triggers the whole process? The time of day.
At 3 pm, you look for the coffee and biscuits whether you are hungry or not.
The way to break this habit is to plan other activities around that time. For example, maybe take a break from your desk, go for a walk, and maybe have a glass of water instead.
Take a look at your habits; try to identify the routine, reward, and cue. Then, make changes and stick to them until you create a new pattern.
Remember, the most challenging time is when you first try to make changes.
Eventually, these new changes will become HABITS!
And to finish a quote from our friend Aristotle:
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."

Client appreciation.
Rhi and I have been working together for around 3/4 months after a fair few months of discussions.....
Last month we finally got 2 of her very close friends to join her on her sessions ππ
This had enabled her to push a little more and even show that with the correct coaching and instruction anyone can teach good and proper form!
Rhi is still at Uni so our sessions will take a little back seat for a while until she is back but I know full well that with the teaching provided a d the open communication (when she's not out partying) she will continue to go from strength to strength!
Dedication is what it takes to become consistent, consistency is what it takes to make changes!
Do you want to learn the basics so you can make the change you so desire?
Using the same teaching of good form over weights, proper coach-client discussions and above all else mutual trust! Then drop me a DM and let's have a conversation!

What a difference a year can make!
Ben came to me looking to build some muscle and learn how to train correctly when he visited
Starting with technique, mobility and light weights Ben learned how to move for his build!
Moving slowly for the first few months doing just a single session per week to gradually moving to twice weekly session when he was ready
Working on his own training outside of our sessions, learning by asking questions and research
Ben has gone from having no muscle mass/definition to increasing his food intake to grow to a mini cut over the start of this summer
Strength has always been a focus with small incremental weight increases each week to him wanting to try more and more during our sessions to add things to his routines
The day Ben moves back to London for his job will definitely be a sad day for myself as we have grown not only as coach and client but as 2 friends!
Do you want to change the body your currently in?
Do you want to learn how your body moves to become more functional?
Do you want the tools Ben has used to increase and grow his muscles?
Drop me a message or comment anytime let me know what you're working on!
