Ten whole years of LittleThink!! 💫
I honestly can’t believe I’ve been running LittleThink for a DECADE
Ten years ago I was a single mum to a toddler, working a crappy job with an idea to start my own business but with no spare money to even buy a laptop! My ever-supportive big brother introduced me to The Prince’s Trust who, after a very scary “Dragon’s Den” style pitch 😂, gave me a small loan and a mentor (who became one of my best friends! ❤️) and LittleThink was born
I spent months reaching out to schools, hearing far more “no’s” than “yes’s” and it was really tough. It actually took well over a year before I could leave my job and support myself and Maisie through LittleThink - but I didn’t give up and we got there.
Over the past 10 years, life has been full. I’ve gotten married, welcomed two more beautiful babies, bought a home, and grown LittleThink into something I’m unbelievably proud of.
I’m so proud of myself for not giving up, even through the rejections, the challenges, a scary health diagnosis and even a pandemic, LittleThink has achieved so much; we’ve done teacher training days, worked in hospitals, provided one-to-one support to grieving children and worked with literally THOUSANDS of kids helping them with their mental health. The fact that some of my very first LittleThinkers are now young adults is wild… and makes me feel very old 😂
And without getting too “Oscar’s speech” I’m endlessly grateful. To the family and friends who’ve supported me every step of the way, to the most incredible staff I’ve worked with, and to my husband - who has spent many a night falling asleep next to the glow of my laptop while I carry on working!
Success means something different to everyone. For some, it’s making millions of pounds but for me, it’s building a business from the ground up; one that makes a genuine difference, supports my family, is recognised for the impact we create, and now even has a waiting list of schools wanting to work with us
Go me! 😂🤍

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet on social media but we’ve been busy where it matters - working closely with our schools and supporting some amazing projects! 🙌🏼 But we’re still here and super excited for these last few weeks of term 💃🏻
We’re almost fully booked for the next academic year, and we’re so thankful for all the support. It’s so fulfilling to see people love what we do - because we really love it too ☺️
Which is no surprise when you look at these feedback sheets from our LittleThinkers - they’re just the best! 🥹

It’s SO great to be back to work this week! Melissa welcomed the newest LittleThinker to the gang over the summer, and he’s super cute 👶🏼🩵
It’s a jam-packed half term for us but we’ll try and update our socials with all the fun we get up to! Stay tuned ☺️

Hello!! ♥️
It’s been a little while since we’ve posted on social media, but we’re still here! Just beavering away in real life in all our favourite schools ☁️
We now see over 150 children a week 😱 so we’re super busy! But I’ll definitely try and share more of what we get up to, it’s my New Month Resolution (that’s a thing right?!)
Happy February everyone ♥️

☁️✨PET CLOUDS✨☁️
A brand new bunch of LittleThinkers started a 6-week programme with us today, and we decided to kick off with one of our favourite activities - Pet Clouds!
This is the PERFECT starter activity to help little ones find their independence with managing their worries by teaching them the difference between big and little worries and helping them work out when they need a grown up to help and when they can manage their worries by themselves ✨
The whole ethos of LittleThink is early intervention, we really believe that if children are empowered with key coping skills early on, it can help them throughout their lives.
There’s a worrying era of “toxic positivity” emerging that can cause people to think they have a serious problem (and even self-diagnose!) when they are anything other than 100% happy - and we HATE IT 😣
Life is tough, but so are we! It’s NORMAL to feel anxious, angry or sad sometimes and at LittleThink we never demonise these emotions, we work on how we can manage them and empower children to deal with the unavoidable ups & downs of life - but always in a super fun and engaging way of course 😉

The cutest pumpkin patch ever! It’s half-term for us this week but had to share our super cute Squishy Squashes from one of our sessions before we broke up 🎃
Since all kids love Squishmallows & Squishy toys at the moment we decided to put an autumnal twist on them! Filled with cotton, they’re so satisfying to squeeze (and they’re mess free unlike other stress-balls!)
We used them as a tool to talk about stress and anxiety and our LittleThinkers LOVED them 🎃
Excited to get back next week, we have some new schools starting with us so it’ll be a busy term, but I’ll try and be better at sharing some of what we we get up to 🙈
HAPPY HALLOWEEN 👻
