It’s with great sadness that we share the loss of one of our friends and ex student Tony Hall, in an air accident in the Swiss Alps.
Tony walked through our doors in 2015 with a dream to train to become a pilot. In April 2017 he realised that dream when he gained his Pilots Wings. Tony then fell in love with the aviation buying himself a succession of aircraft and eventually purchased the airfield itself. Tony then embarked on a mission to improve the airfield to become one of the finest aerodromes in the UK.
A man of great passion and dreams - and an excellent pilot -
We will miss your dearly old friend.
Our thoughts go out to his Wife and daughter,
we cannot begin to imagine your pain.
Our thoughts go out to his friends and colleagues on the airfield too who have lost a great friend.
Blue skies Tony - we will miss you -
but we will never forget you
Rest in peace friend.

It’s congratulations to Jack Colgrave who has achieved his first solo…👍
Jack flew a great first solo profile under the watchful eye of his Flight instructor and our chief pilot to successfully achieve this first major milestone in his Flight training career.

It’s congratulations also to Andy Waddel who also passed his private pilot skills test today.
Andy, originally from Glasgow, joined us after moving from another flight school, was guided through the final stages of his training by Flight Instructor Marcus Allen before launching on his skills test today.
Andy flew a great test profile and is now the proud owner of his private pilot wings.
Well done Andy from all the AIRSPACE team…👍

It’s congratulations to Harvey Edwards who passed his PPL skills test today 👍👍
Harvey who is currently cabin crew for JET2 aims to gain his commercial licence to become a professional airline pilot himself…. And with Harvey’s quite unique natural skill we have absolutely no doubt he will make it.

It’s a very big congratulations tonight also to Helen Masoumi who passed her COMMERCIAL FLIGHT TEST (CPL) with us today.
Helen flew an excellent test profile with her CAA Examiner to achieve her CPL pass and now progress into her career as a commercial pilot.
Excellent work Helen, we’re all very proud of you here here by FTS.

It’s congratulations today to Stuart McCauley who achieved his first solo in the Cessna 152 👍
Stuart is at home here at AIRSPACE FTS amongst us ex music biz types as he is by day a sound engineer for amongst others Iron Maiden and some of our Bosses favourite bands, Slowdive and Ride…
We consider a guest lists at all such gigs be mandatory now he’s gone solo, we will definitely be holding him to it…🤣
But well done, Stuart. Great effort, top work.
