We’ve been keeping very busy lately with lots of messy, hands-on fun and adventures! From dinosaur tuff trays 🦖 and insect discoveries 🐞 to colourful foam play 🌈, planting seeds 🌱 and creating giant child-sized bubbles 🫧, our little learners have been exploring, creating and investigating every day.

We’ve also loved getting out into our community with visits to the local park 🍃 and library 📚, giving children even more opportunities to learn, discover and make memories together.

A little bit messy, a lot of fun, and plenty of learning along the way! ✨

Last week we celebrated a special milestone, our preschool children leaving for school!

To our amazing children, we are so proud of everything you have achieved. To our wonderful families, thank you for trusting us to be part of your child’s early learning journey.

What an exciting few weeks we’ve had at Squiggles!🐣🌼

The children have been fascinated watching our chicks hatch, carefully observing each stage of the life cycle — from the eggs first beginning to pip, to the chicks finally making their way out and becoming fluffy in the incubator.

Through lots of discussions, activities and life cycle learning, the children were able to predict what might happen next and showed such amazing curiosity throughout. They were very brave and gentle when holding the chicks, remembering the importance of washing their hands afterwards too 🫧🐥

We’ve also loved sharing lots of farm and chick stories together, following the children’s growing interest and excitement 📚🚜

Recently at Squiggles…💜

Our babies and toddlers have been exploring sensory tuff trays, getting hands-on with textures, colours, and messy play to spark their curiosity and development ✨

We’ve also loved getting out and about in our local community — with our babies enjoying fresh air and fun trips to the park, while our toddlers have been discovering stories and imagination at the library 📚

Our pre-schoolers have been busy building their school readiness through exciting activities focused on shapes, numbers, and practising writing their names — we’re so proud of their progress! 🎨✏️

A huge well done to all of our amazing children and staff that dressed up this year! We had some fantastic costumes!! 🍌🐘🐅

The children have enjoyed getting messy in different book themed tuff trays, reading all their favourite stories and of course dressing up as their favourite characters!📚💜

We have been learning all about the year of the horse and celebrating by making lanterns, colouring in and getting messy in some rice!
