From den building, muddy boots and bug hunts to baking, storytelling, creative play, campfire snacks, woodland walks and growing vegetables, children's interests lead the way. We embrace the changing seasons, creating meaningful experiences, lasting memories and a genuine love of learning through exploration, adventure and hands-on discovery.

A favourite part of our setting is our woodland-inspired play space, where children can climb, dig, build, create, get muddy and immerse themselves in imaginative play, with endless opportunities for adventure and discovery.

Alongside our daily adventures, we enjoy regular outings within our local community, visiting parks, libraries, groups, shops and places of interest, helping children build confidence, develop social skills and feel connected to the world around them.

Set within a warm, nurturing home environment, we encourage children to grow in confidence, independence and wonder through hands-on experiences and plenty of opportunities to explore, create and discover.

We had a lovely time visiting a local vegetable farm yesterday! 🌱 We went exploring to see what fruits and vegetables we could find to pick. We discovered some rhubarb, which was quite tricky to pull, but with a little teamwork we managed it!

We were also lucky enough to look inside the polytunnel, where we saw herbs growing alongside radishes and lots of tiny seedlings. Have you ever seen such a small cabbage before? 🥬

As we walked around the fields, we learned about the irrigation systems and how the plants are watered. We also spotted lots of little strawberry plants, which was very exciting! 🍓

After our time in the fields, we had a look around the farm shop where we saw fully grown cabbages and lots of other interesting produce and goodies.

Before heading home for lunch, we enjoyed a snack outside and had a little play in the play area. Back at home, we chopped and washed the rhubarb ready to make a delicious rhubarb crumble. 😋

We’re already looking forward to going back in the summer to pick strawberries! 🍓☀️

We had a fabulous time at Halfpenny Green Airport last week. We had to follow the blue line from the car park to make sure we stayed safe and looked both ways for aeroplanes when we crossed the taxi way. As we walked past the aircraft hangars we looked inside and saw lots of different aircraft including micro lights and discovered that if we shouted inside, we could hear our voices echo. After eating snack whilst watching the aeroplanes taking off and landing we were lucky enough to see some people having helicopter lessons who were hovering around. Afterwards, we went to Highgate and had a run around, playing games going on a bear hunt, and making dens under trees. We enjoyed a picnic lunch then went home to play in the garden where we ended the day with a picnic tea.

Today’s adventure was all about the train journey—and what an experience it was! 🚂 From the moment we set off on the Severn Valley Railway, the excitement never stopped. We listened closely to the rhythm of the rails, watched the world rush by, and of course had lots of fun pretending to be train whistles along the way.
It was exciting crossing over the river on the bridge—seeing the water below as we travelled across was amazing! We also spotted canal boats drifting along and even people rowing on the river, which made the journey feel even more special.
The Railway volunteers told us to watch out for the big tunnel because we would pass through the safari park just after. We were thrilled to see animals right from the train, including camels & rhinos as well as cows, horses, and sheep in the fields. There was so much to look out for from the windows, and the children loved spotting everything along the way, including beautiful bluebells.
After all that excitement, we arrived at Highley and explored the Visitor Centre, where the children enjoyed sorting mail on the Royal Mail train and playing with the model railway. After a picnic lunch the children enjoyed playing on the play equipment outside in the sunshine. The journey home was just as exciting and we experienced travelling in the dining car.
A truly memorable day, but the train journey itself was definitely the highlight!

We were so impressed with the whole experience—especially the wonderful Severn Valley Railway volunteers, who made the day even more special. A truly memorable adventure!

Today we continued our adventures with a lovely trip to Bewdley 🌿

We enjoyed a peaceful walk along the river, stopping to have our snack while watching the water flow by. Then it was off under the bridge and through the tunnels, where we had fun listening to our voices echo!

After that, we explored the museum and wandered through the gardens, discovering an old air raid shelter and a fascinating water wheel. Sadly though, a few of us were put in the stocks!!

To top it all off, we had a brilliant run around Jubilee Gardens—playing “What’s the Time, Mr. Wolf?” and uncovering lots of hidden corners and secret little spots along the way.

We had a lovely afternoon in the garden after recharging our batteries with lunch.
