Hello St Marys parents and wider community! We're looking to have a stall at STOTFEST as it was a great day last year. So once again we're asking for your donations! Any bottles - wine, beer, shower gel, water - anything we can use for a bottle game. must of course be unopened, and in date! Any and all donations gratefully received - please drop to school office.

Calling all parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

We need your help.

We have a few potential events coming up that we need more volunteers for in order to run them.

Father’s Day shop 19th June - from drop off
Stotfest 27th June daytime (stall)
Disco 9th July - afterschool
St Mary’s church fete 11th July afternoon (stall)

Even if you can’t help this time we’d love it if you could join our volunteers whats app group so we can communicate with potential helpers more easily. Please also message or email with your mobile number so we can add you to that for future events.
I promise it’s a quiet chat group apart from events! 😆

We would like to take a moment to thank each and every person who volunteers with the SMSA. We work consistently and tirelessly to fundraise for our school and make memories for our children. At times it’s hard work and without the masses of volunteers we couldn’t run half of the events we do -so thank you to the SMSA core gang, and the volunteers who help us - even one event really helps and is appreciated. Message this page to be added to our volunteer what’s app group - no commitment we just post in there with an upcoming event, and if you can help, you speak up - as little or as often as you can.

And thats a WRAP on this years Sponsored Bounce! Lots of very excited children this morning! They should come home with a slip of paper telling you how many bounces they did so you can pay up your sponsorship :D

HUGE thanks to Jones Entertainments Bouncy Castle Hire for donating 2 bouncy castles at NO COST meaning we can maximise our fundraising!

We have our much loved SPONSORED BOUNCE on Tuesday! This is always a really fun event for the children - each child gets a timed 60 seconds on a bouncy castle, and tries to do as many bounces as possible in their minute! You can sponsor per bounce (note, over 100 is common for the older ones!) or a flat rate - and this is a really important fundraiser for the school. Cash donations are fine - you can print out a sponsor form to pass around extended family and friends (I'll try and pop one in comments, but the school did email it out with newsletter dated 5th May)

In the playground from 3pm. Kids grown 17 inches since yesterday? Come kit them out, top up your spares, replace that chewed up jumper and grab yourself a bargain.

HAPPY BAG DROP this morning is in STAFF car park, not the playground! The playground is open for an unrelated reason please go to staff car park.

Not smsa related but a local church is raising funds for a new roof and is looking for teddy donation’s for a tombola.
As a parent I know I’m always delighted for somewhere to offload the excess so if you have teddies to donate - please see comments for Sians info!
