🌟 What a wonderful day out for our NS2 class! 🌟

Our children had a fantastic time visiting Amberley Museum. They enjoyed exploring the museum, discovering more about the past, and getting hands on with lots of exciting experiences. 🚂🔍

It was lovely to see so much curiosity, enthusiasm and joy as the children learned through real life experiences.

⛵🌊 A Day at Brighton Marina! 🌊⛵
Our preschool children had a fantastic opportunity to visit Brighton Marina and explore the wonderful world of boats! ⚓️💙

The children enjoyed looking at all the different boats and were fascinated by their shapes, colours and sizes. We talked about which boats were big, small, long and short, comparing them with one another and using lots of new vocabulary along the way. 🚤📏

It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience, allowing the children to explore, observe and make comparisons while enjoying the sights and sounds of the marina. 🌊😊

A brilliant day full of learning, curiosity and fun! 🥰⛵

🌊⛳✨ Glowball Golf – Aquatic Theme! 🐠💙
The children had an amazing time at Glowball Golf with a fantastic aquatic theme! 🌊🐠✨ They enjoyed glowing lights, colourful surroundings, lots of fun challenges and plenty of laughs along the way.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, having a go and enjoying such a fun and memorable experience together! 💙⛳🌟

🦆💛 What a wonderful morning for NS2!
We enjoyed a lovely outing into the community, making our way to the duck pond where we were delighted to meet lots of friendly ducks! The children had so much fun quacking, waving and searching for loose duck feathers. 🪶

Back at nursery, the fun continued as we created our very own mini duck pond! The children enjoyed reminiscing about the ducks they had seen and bringing their experiences back into their play.

A morning full of smiles, exploration, communication and lots of quacking! 🦆🌿💛

🌿Exploring Self-Portraits🪞
This week, our pre-school children explored the idea of self-portraits using natural objects and mirrors. 🌱

The children enjoyed looking closely at their own reflections and noticing their different features. They then used leaves, flowers, sticks and other natural materials to create their own unique self portraits.

This activity encouraged the children to develop their self awareness, creativity and observation skills, while also exploring the beauty of nature. 🪞🌿

It was lovely to see each child express themselves in their own way! 💚

📚 Library Trip 📚

We enjoyed a lovely trip to the library. The children loved choosing their favourite books and sharing them with their friends. We discovered some exciting new stories, explored beautiful illustrations, and pointed out our favourite characters along the way. There were lots of smiles, giggles, and fun playing with the teddies too! 🌟

What a wonderful afternoon of reading, learning, and friendship. 💕

🐻🍊 Paddington Afternoon Tea Fun! 🍊🐻

Today we enjoyed a wonderful Paddington Afternoon Tea filled with friendship, conversation, and lots of fun. The children gathered together for social time, listening to stories about Paddington Bear and learning all about his famous marmalade sandwiches. 🥪🍊

The children showed great independence as they helped serve themselves, made choices about their food and drinks, and joined in confidently with discussions about the stories. Sharing these experiences helps to develop communication skills, confidence, and a love of books.

A lovely afternoon full of laughter, learning, and Paddington adventures! ❤️🐻

🐢🌿 Meeting Raff the Tortoise! 🌿🐢

What a wonderful time the children had taking part in tortoise and Turtle play and meeting the lovely Raff! 💚

The children were so excited to meet a real tortoise and enjoyed watching Raff explore, move around and discover his surroundings. 🐢👀

It was a fun and memorable experience, giving the children the opportunity to learn about tortoises and turtles, while developing their curiosity, confidence and love for animals. 🌱❤️

🌟 Adventure, Exploration & Learning Through Play! 🌳🦖

What a wonderful time the children have had exploring Arundel Play Park and Southwater Dinosaur Park! ❤️

We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to visit two fantastic adventure parks, where the children could enjoy the outdoors, explore new environments and challenge themselves through play.

From climbing, balancing and pulling themselves up to confidently navigating the equipment, the children were developing their gross motor skills, coordination, strength and confidence while having lots of fun. 🌳

It was lovely to see everyone encouraging themselves, trying new things and enjoying the freedom of outdoor play.

Two exciting adventures, lots of happy memories and so many opportunities to learn, move, explore and grow together! ❤️🌿

🐟🦀 A Trip to the Fishmongers! 🦀🐟

Today our children enjoyed a fascinating visit to the local fishmongers, where they explored a variety of sea creatures and learned about where seafood comes from.

To extend our learning, we brought a crab back to the nursery for the children to investigate more closely. The children were full of curiosity as they observed its features, discussed what they noticed, asked questions, and shared their ideas about its habitat and how it moves.

Using their observations, the children then created detailed drawings of the crab, developing their communication, observation, and creative skills. This exciting real-life experience encouraged learning through exploration and sparked many meaningful conversations about life under the sea.
