🎶✨ Our Storrington Songbirds had a wonderful afternoon sharing their talents with members of the local community at the Leisure Centre’s Coffee & Chat event.
The children were fantastic, performing beautifully and representing our school with pride. The residents thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and even asked if we could return again, which is already being planned for next term! 😊
It was a lovely opportunity to bring people together through music and to showcase the incredible talents of our children. To top off a wonderful afternoon, the kind staff at the Leisure Centre treated all of the children to a free ice pop. 🍦
A huge well done to our Songbirds for being such excellent ambassadors for our school! 🎵💙

We had the pleasure of Dee Tickner from come into school this morning to award a small group of children medals for their hard work and support with both school and community events this year.
This group of children have helped with all of our volunteering events both in school and the local community. They have helped to decorate and tidy the school, be supportive and help at school events as well as be present at community litter picks and run stalls at community events like the recent Storrington Stork Festival.
A MASSIVE thank you and well done to Mabel, Rosie, Grace, Lily and Bella. You are all SUPERSTARS! 🌟

The end of what has been another incredibly hot fortnight with so many activities taking place as we run in to the end of the academic year.

🌿♻️ Our final Eco Reps session of the year was a creative celebration of nature and sustainability! Using natural materials collected from around our school grounds, alongside recycled items, we created beautiful nature-inspired collages and sculptures. 🍃🎨
We also caught up with Erica from the White Stork Project at Knepp and heard some exciting news about this year’s stork fledglings. 🦢✨ The young birds have now been fitted with ID rings and are beginning to explore the world beyond their nests. We learned that they often visit each other’s nests too – like a stork social network! 🌍💚
A fantastic way to end the year, combining creativity, conservation and curiosity about the natural world.
