Introducing .....THE FACE BEHIND Taylored Tutoring !! 🔬🧪🧫🧬👩🔬
I thought it would be good to do a little introduction to the face behind Taylored Tutoring and share a little bit about who I am, what I do and the hopes for my little corner of the internet!
About me:
👩 My name is Lauryn Taylor (as you may have guessed from the name of the page!) and I have spent most of my life in Southampton by the sea! ⛵
👩🔬I graduated with first class honours in a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bath in 2021
👩🏫 I completed my teacher training/ Post graduate certificate in education PGCE in Secondary Science with qualified teacher status (QTS) in 2022 -specialising in chemistry!! 🧪
🩺I will start studying Medicine as a graduate at the University of Keele in September 2023! (and will be based around the Stone, Staffordshire area!📍)
👩🔬 I have had a years worth of experience as a secondary supply teacher- this has given me a huge insight into not only different methods of teaching science concepts by adapting them to the different needs of many children but to also teaching all of the science specialisms from KS3 all the way up to A level!
👥 I am a firm believer in Widening access to education and STEM careers!
🐾 In my free time, you will find me walking my dog Whitney, paddle boarding and camping!
♥️Being able to offer tutoring at an affordable price to allow as many people to achieve and succeed in science is why I have decided to start Taylored Tutoring officially!
I am continuing to take on new students (in person and online) but I have also started filling up spaces ready for the September back to school time!! Spaces are limited as I will have my studying commitments so DO drop me a message if you have any questions or are Interested in science tutoring for you or your child! 📚🏫👩🏫
