Pear Tree Nursery

Now open. Pear Tree Nursery offers exceptional child care in Audley and Bignall End, Staffordshire. Visit http://peartreenursery.com

It was after speaking with other parents in my local area of Bignall End and Audley that I realised there was a need for greater childcare provision. As a local mum, with two children, I had often been involved in conversations with other parents and the question of childcare had been raised. As a qualified Nursery Practitioner, with a lifetime of work in the childcare sector, it is something which had often struck a chord with me – that there was no purpose-built childcare provision available locally.

Last week, our families joined the children in our Little Buds room for a lovely autumnal Stay & Play 🍂🍐

It was a wonderful afternoon of exploring, creating and getting a little messy together, giving families the chance to step into their children’s world and share in their learning and play.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, we loved welcoming you into the nursery. Keep an eye out for our next Stay & Play dates and activities coming soon! 🤎

National Grandparents’ Day 🤍🌿

Today we’re celebrating the wonderful grandparents and special people who play such an important part in our children’s lives.

We’ve asked our families to share photos of grandparents with us on Blossom, which we’ll be using this week to encourage conversations, stories and happy memories amongst the children. 🍐

From adventures together to family traditions and everyday moments, there’s so much to talk about and treasure.

Wishing all of our Pear Tree grandparents a very Happy Grandparents’ Day. 🤍

Some rather special news from Pear Tree Nursery….🌿🍐

We’re incredibly proud to share the results of our recent Ofsted inspection. Under Ofsted’s new inspection framework, Pear Tree Nursery achieved Strong standard in every area, with safeguarding standards also met. 🤍

The inspector found that our children “arrive happily” and feel “safe, known and included” - a wonderful reflection of everything we want Pear Tree to be.

A huge thank you to our wonderful team, our little learners and all of our families who make Pear Tree so special. 🍐

We’ve launched our new page for Pear Tree Nursery, where we’ll be sharing more of everyday nursery life, activities, learning through play, seasonal moments and updates from both of our settings.

We’d love your help in spreading the word… head over to our Instagram page, give us a follow and share our new page with friends and family who might like to join us too.

Today marks 9 years since our little nursery opened its doors in the heart of Bignall End.

What an incredible 9 years it has been. We have welcomed so many wonderful children and families through our door, and it has been an absolute privilege to be part of each child's learning journey. Watching them grow, learn, develop and flourish is why we love what we do so much.

We genuinely wouldn't be the nursery we are without our amazing staff team. Their hard work, dedication, passion and, most importantly, the love and care they show the children every single day means everything to us.

We are so grateful for every single family who has chosen us, supported us, recommended us and shared these special years with us. Your support and kind words never go unnoticed.

Here's to 9 wonderful years of memories, laughter, learning and lots of little people growing up before our eyes! 🍐🌳⭐️🎂🎉

To celebrate our wonderful children who are taking their next steps into Nursery School life, we arranged a delightful visit from a local farm. The children were fascinated by the Alpacas, laughed at the playful Baby Goat, loved cuddling the Baby Bunny Rabbit and stroking the fluffy sheep (who was also very noisy) and meeting the adorable duckling. We then enjoyed a wonderful brunch party, spending quality time with our friends before starting our new school journey.
