One of my pupils has a real passion for Dungeons & Dragons, so instead of asking them to complete another worksheet, we turned their interest into the lesson.

Learning doesn’t have to look traditional. When we follow a child’s interests, we can teach the very same skills like phonics, spelling, reading and writing in a way that feels meaningful and enjoyable.
