⭐️ Just a gentle reminder tomorrow Friday 13th February 2026 is an inset day so any children who receive free government funded hours this includes the 15 free hours or the 30 hours family funding, the nursery will be closed to. ⭐️
⭐️ Nursery will then be closed next week from Monday 16th February 2026 for half term and will reopen on Monday 23rd February for all children⭐️
⭐️ We hope you all have a lovely half term and look forward to some home learning activities that you can share with us as a home observation through the Eyparent app⭐️

🎨Here at Thomas Boughey Kindergarten we encourage all of children to explore, learn and investigate in a variety of different messy play activities both inside and outside. There are many benefits to children getting messy and being outdoors! 🎨
🎨Please remember to send your child to nursery in older clothes as although we do encourage the children to wear aprons sometimes messy play can get everywhere! 🎨
🎨Also to bring in spare clothes that can be kept on your child's peg so that if they do become messy the practitioners can change them. 🎨
Thank you for your continued cooperation.

If you receive the 30 free working family funding please can you reconfirm your code every 3 months on the childcare choices site or your child will lose their funding for the following term and then may lose their space. Once you receive the reminder email please make sure you reconfirm to prevent this from happening. Thank you 😌

Just a gentle reminder that on Friday 14th February it is a funded inset day so any children who receive funding will not be in on this day.

We have some exciting news to share, every Friday afternoon between 1-2pm we have Hayley joining us at nursery for some Sensory Storytelling sessions in both the Toddler and the Pre-school room. Led by a qualified EYFS/ SEN teacher, The Sensory Storyteller sessions spread a passion for story time, interaction and communication, through sensory storytelling, singing and Makaton signing. These sessions will be a cost of £2 per week if your child attends on this day and time. Feel free to follow The Sensory Storyteller CIC on her page.
