Thank you so much to all of the families who were able to join us last week for our OPAL morning. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and that you were able to see how the provision is enriching the children's communication, social skills and experiences during break and lunchtimes. Thank you to all the parents for your supportive comments and feedback.

🤩 Amazing news!

Belgrave has achieved Bio-Fly’s Eco-Warrior Award, recognising our fantastic work to improve biodiversity over the past year.

Using the National Education Nature Park mapping tool, pupils mapped habitats, installed bird boxes and bug hotels, and extended our allotment to provide food for pollinators. We have also encouraged more families to walk to school, taken part in the RSPB Big Bird Count and organised community litter picks.

These activities have brought the whole community together, helping wildlife, reducing emissions and encouraging healthier habits.

What a fantastic achievement for our Belgrave family! 🌍

🏃‍♂️ Athlete Visit! 🏃‍♀️

A huge thank you to British American Football player Alex Lenkowski for visiting Belgrave! 🏈

Our children showed fantastic enthusiasm during the fitness circuits and asked some brilliant questions during Alex's assembly. It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and inspired throughout the morning.

We would also like to say a massive thank you to all of our families for your incredible support and sponsorship. Not only have we helped support the ActivKids UK athlete programme, which helps aspiring athletes achieve their goals, but together we have also raised an amazing £652.06 for Belgrave! 🎉

Thank you for helping to make the event such a success! We hope you enjoy this short video of the morning's activities! 😊

On Friday 23rd January, we were incredibly proud to officially launch our new Phiz Lab! 🧪✨

This fantastic new science lab space will play a vital role in helping our children develop their skills in working scientifically: exploring, questioning, investigating, and discovering the world around them with curiosity and confidence. 🔍

Huge thanks to The Ogden Trust for their generous donation which made this lab possible. We are also very grateful to our visitors from the Ogden Trust and Science Across the City who joined us to officially open the lab. 👏

A special thank you as well to the science ambassadors and families who came along to celebrate this exciting milestone with us.

We can’t wait to see the inspiration, learning and scientific thinking that will grow in this space for years to come! 🔬🌟
