Our experienced and highly qualified team 👩‍🏫 includes many long-standing staff who provide consistency, warmth, and strong relationships for children and families. Our supportive managers are present every day, ensuring high standards of care and wellbeing. We are proud to be rated Good by Ofsted ⭐ and hold a 5-star food hygiene rating, with fresh meals cooked on site daily 🥦🍽️. Our child-led EYFS curriculum supports learning through play, guided by meaningful professional scaffolding 🌟. Our outdoor garden is a special part of our setting 🌳, offering natural resources, a dedicated gross motor area, a mud kitchen beneath beautiful mature trees, nursery chickens 🐔, and opportunities to grow plants and vegetables 🌱🥕. We value strong partnerships with parents 🤝 and see ourselves as one nursery family, offering stay and play sessions and opportunities for families to share in their child’s learning journey 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨. Baby Room Practitioner 🌟 🤩

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and experienced practitioner to join our dedicated Baby Room team.

The successful applicant must have previous experience working with babies and young children and be passionate about providing high-quality care and education.

Essential requirements:

- Previous experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
- A genuine passion for working with babies and young children
- Ability to provide suitable employment references

A new enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful applicant and employment will be subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks.

Salary: Dependent on experience.

The end of another nursery year… ❤️

The end of the nursery year is always one of the most rewarding, yet emotional, times. Watching our preschool children spread their wings ready for school, while also seeing our younger children grow in confidence, develop new skills and achieve so many milestones, reminds us just how special our job really is.

Today we enjoyed a lovely Teddy Bears’ Picnic with our favourite cuddly friends! The children had a wonderful time sharing a lovely lunch together, chatting with their friends, singing songs and making special memories.

These shared experiences help to support children’s communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and encourage imaginative play through meaningful, child-centred experiences.

We are delighted to introduce our new mud kitchen to our baby and toddler outdoor area! 🥣🍃
Our mud kitchen provides a rich, enabling environment where children can lead their own learning through play. Open-ended experiences like these support the Prime Areas of the EYFS by promoting Communication and Language as children talk, negotiate and share ideas, Physical Development through scooping, pouring, mixing and transporting materials, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development as they build confidence, independence and develop positive relationships.
Children are also encouraged to explore, investigate and make sense of the world around them, fostering curiosity, creativity and critical thinking through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
