The children enjoyed exploring bee-themed playdough activities, using different tools and resources to create bees, hives, and patterns. ππ
This hands-on activity supported fine motor development, creativity, and imaginative play while encouraging lots of lovely conversations and learning about bees.

This fun activity supported creativity, fine motor skills, and communication and language as the children shared ideas and talked about the process together.

The children explored our bee-themed sensory bin, construction area, and maths table through hands-on play and discovery. πΌ
They enjoyed building, counting, sorting, scooping, and working together while developing early maths, communication, and problem-solving skills. ππ

The children have been learning all about the life cycle of a bee and exploring how bees grow and change. ππΌ
They enjoyed discussing each stage and learning why bees are so important to our environment.

The children explored honey through sensory play, discussing the texture, smell, and where it comes from. π―
They also enjoyed loose parts play, using a variety of resources to create their own bee-inspired ideas while developing creativity, imagination, and problem-solving skills. π

Today was a special day at nursery β the day we set our butterflies free π¦β¨
After watching them grow and change from tiny caterpillars into beautiful butterflies, the children were so excited to see the final stage of their life cycle and help release them into the world.
Itβs been such a lovely hands-on learning experience, teaching the children about patience, care, and the wonders of nature πΏπ
