💛Our Baby Sensory® & Toddler Sense® Terms are in full swing at our Wow Centre located on Festival Park, Hanley & we’re loving welcoming new families each week.

✨The best part? You don’t need to wait for next Term. Families are welcome to join at any point during the Term, as long as there’s space.

💚Whether you’re in those early newborn days or have a busy little toddler on the go, our award-winning classes are designed to support you and your child at every stage.

Our Summer class timetable includes:

👶 Baby Sensory® (0–6 months - Tuesdays at 12.35pm or Thursdays at 12.20pm)
Gentle sensory play, bonding time, early development, songs, lights and precious first experiences in a calm, supportive environment.

👶 Baby Sensory® (0–13 months - Tuesday at 9.45am, Wednesday at 11.30am or Thursday at 9.30am)
Encouraging movement, curiosity, communication and confidence as your baby grows, explores and discovers the world around them.

🚀 Toddler Sense® (13 months – 3 years - Fridays at 11am)
Perfect for little movers! Climb, bounce, dance and explore through exciting themed adventures that build confidence, coordination and social skills.

💚 Our classes are perfect for making lasting memories, new friendships for yourself & baby & offer warmth, laughter, support & shared milestones — new families are always welcome at any time during the term.

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads & grandads - I hope you’re having a lovely day!

We love having daddies join us at Baby Sensory, and not just for events like our Father’s Day sessions. You are always welcome in class to enjoy a special hour of fun with your baby!

Did you know, parents who devote quality time to their babies give them a far greater chance of growing up to be confident, happy & motivated adults. Research shows that the more actively involved & interested the parent is, the greater the social, emotional & intellectual development of the child.

Parents can add to baby development in important ways. For example, they can:

Encourage exploring which support the development of independence.

Engage in rough-housing activities, which promote trust, develop confidence & reinforce self-control.

Influence development through teaching & daily interaction.

Expand vocabulary & linguistic skills through talking, telling stories & by singing rhymes & songs.

Provide opportunities for exploration, discovery & problem-solving.

Summer may feel like its not have fully arrived just yet, but with the Summer Solstice on 21st June marking the longest day of the year, warmer days are hopefully just around the corner!

Whether you're enjoying sunshine, dodging rain showers or doing a bit of both, the summer months bring wonderful opportunities for sensory exploration. Babies love watching leaves dancing in the breeze, listening to birdsong & discovering new sights, sounds & textures outdoors.

As Dr Lin Day reminds us, sunlight is an important source of vitamin D, but babies' delicate skin needs extra protection during periods of strong UV radiation. Because of concerns over sunburn, the FDA recommends that babies avoid direct sunlight between 10am and 4pm, when UV radiation is at its strongest.

🌺Get ready to celebrate World Rainforest Day as next week we are taking your little explorers on their very own rainforest adventure!!

🦋We’ll be spotting amazing creatures, watching butterflies flutter by & enjoying the rainforest rain bubbles & fruits. Taking in all the magical sights, textures & sounds of the rainforest will bring so many precious moments & memories. We just LOVE sharing these special experiences with you and your little ones!

This week at Baby Sensory Stoke we will be stimulating the senses with movement, colour & texture. We will be relaxing to the calming sounds of chimes & enjoying lots of rocking & cuddles amongst the lights, stars & bubbles. We can't wait to see you!

Thank you so much to everyone who came along today to our Fathers Day specials! Many of our amazing Baby Sensory daddies don’t usually get the chance to attend classes & experience the magic of Baby Sensory with their little ones & today was so much fun! We made flying baby aeroplanes, got the cars washed, did some DIY & building with Bob the builder, made lots of noise playing the drums & enjoyed getting the giant parachute out with balloons & bubbles!
