This concerns me!😢

For two reasons..

This is off a driving test UK page . I have NO links with the instructor or learner concerned...

1) an instructor is incorrect if they state you cannot use this area.

2) the highway code CLEARLY advises where you can/ cannot, should/ shouldn't use ANY road markings.. so PASSING THE THEORY IS REALLY IMPORTANT!!

You cannot take the risk that everything may or may not be bought up/ encountered during lessons.. but YOU have no excuse not to put ALL your effort into KNOWING the highway code.

It's your fundamental ground work to be a safe and legal driver when you're on the road.

This is why "learning to pass test routes is NOT advisable".

It concerns me too, some examiners have mentioned "as you will know shortly coming up... X y z".. they don't!

I teach how to drive.
I don't teach how to do test routes.
Of course we may drive on test route areas, because it's a local area

If the pupil is unsuccessful...then THEY were not reading signs/ markings and if they don't know the highway code rules .. then it's not their time to be passing a test and being out there on the roads!!

Passing your theory and knowing it . Is SO important.

What is it with the latest youth of today?? I'm sure I've never known so many aged between 16-22 acting so idiotic with bikes/ cars/ scooters. All illegal...

Absolutely no thought for their futures!!
