Last weeks topic for the jelly beans was baking and making. On Monday the children made their own pizza muffins for their tea. On Tuesday the children made some cupcakes which they decorated themselves when they were cooked. On Wednesday the children made their own sandwiches for their tea and chose what filling they wanted. On Thursday the children made biscuits and enjoyed rolling them into balls. On Friday the children helped to make a cake for the gruffalo. As the children ate the cake they listened to the gruffalo story.

This week in the Jelly Tots room our topic has been ‘Weather’! On Monday the children made their own lightening pictures using PVA glue and glitter⚡️On Tuesday the children explored a snow messy tray🌨️On Wednesday we created our own rainbow picture🌈On Thursday the children made their own sun collages☀️And today the children have used cotton wool and some blue paint to create rain pictures🌧️

This week the topic in the Jelly Tots room has been ‘transport’🚘

On Monday the children enjoyed exploring a messy tractor and farmyard tray🚜On Tuesday the children used a water tray to wash the different vehicles and explore different textures🚙On Wednesday the children had lots of fun being creative and painted their own transport pictures🎨On Thursday we took a trip to the train station and watched the trains🚆To finish the week off, today the children have loved standing outside and watching the different traffic drive past nursery🚌🚛

🪴Digging with the spades for ‘I dig my garden’.
🦖Exploring a dinosaur tray for ‘There’s a dinosaur’.
🍼Playing doctors on the babies for ‘Miss Polly has a dolly’.
👩‍🍳Baking star biscuits for ‘Twinkle Twinkle little star’.
🕷️Splashing in the water tray for ‘Incy Wincy Spider.

Over the last two weeks the jellybeans topic has been” All about me”🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️

They have had lots of fun drawing their houses, handprint painting, decorating their names, drawing portraits, looking at facial features using mirrors, creating faces in play dough, practicing writing their names, playing Simon says, decorating a person and making a worry monster with tissue paper 😊🥰❤️

I am taking part in the sands ribbon run in October for baby loss charity.
We are doing this in memory of my grandaugther Rosabella Charia 🩷 who was born sleeping in July. This as been heartbreaking for our families.
So if you can donate anything big or small i would be very greatful.

This week in the Jelly Tots our topic has been Numbers🧮
On Monday the toties enjoyed exploring the numbers in the gelli Baff, on Tuesday we explored the loose parts and numbers, on Wednesday the children looked at different amounts with the blocks, on Thursday the children played a number ball game and today the children have used the tweezers to count and sort the Pom Poms🔢🧮
