Bambino's Private Day Nursery

This week in the jelly tots room our topic has been ‘under the sea’! On Monday the children enjoyed rescuing sea animals from the slime using nets🐠On Tuesday the children made their own jelly fish models using paper plates, paint, and tissue paper🪼On Wednesday the children used the paint and sea animal sponges to decorate their own sea animal pictures🦀On Thursday the children loved exploring an under the sea den with lots of different animals and seashells🐚And to finish our week off, today the children have loved splashing in an under the sea water tray🐬

For the last two weeks the topic in the jelly babies room has been Summer☀️The babies have enjoyed going out to the sandpit and building lots of sandcastles🪣The babies also loved using the toy frogs to splash around in a water tray🐸The babies have also explored an ice cream tray with shaving foam, sprinkles and cones🍦The babies enjoyed being creative and colouring in their own summer pictures🖍️The babies have also made their own yummy fruit smoothies and tasted some ice cream too🍓To finish off our Summer topic, today the babies have had lots of fun splashing in a water tray and using the nets to pick out the flowers🌸

Over the last two weeks the topic in the Jelly Tots has been ‘Around the world’🌍
The children have enjoyed a wide range of activities including;
-colouring flag pictures
-playing with the small world
-exploring an Italy pasta tray
-dancing to music from around the world
-tasting Chinese food using chopsticks
-making their own French baguettes
-exploring differences between people
-sharing holiday pictures and souvenirs
-painting world landmarks
-exploring an Indian flag rice tray
The children have loved learning about other countries and cultures around the world🗺️

This week in the jelly beans room our topic has been senses.

The children have enjoyed feeling different textures of sensory bags (touch) , dancing and listening to music (hear), smelling different spices in a coco powder tray (smell), making smoothies (taste) and making binoculars (sight) ☺️💃🕺👀✋🥰

Last week in the jelly beans room our topic was messy play.
The children had lots of fun Mark making in shaving foam, exploring chia seed frog tray, scooping weetabix up using the diggers, using fine motor skills with the tweezers and spaghetti and getting messy in the insect mud tray 🥰🐜🪰🐸💞

This weeks topic for the Jelly babies has been messy play. The babies explored a artic ice tray on Monday which they loved. On Tuesday the babies did some painting with different types of brushes. On Wednesday we had an England party (we won’t talk about it too much 🙈). On Thursday the babies explored a chia seed frog messy tray which they enjoyed feeling the texture off. To finish our week the babies have explored a rainbow spaghetti messy tray which they enjoyed feeling and tasting.

The Jelly babies have been for a walk along to the bakery for snack this morning. They enjoyed a cheese oatcake and a carton of apple juice. The babies were very well behaved and loved watching out of the window at the cars driving past.

This week in the Jelly Tots our topic has been fine motor skills✋
The children have enjoyed using the tweezers to colour sort the Pom Poms, we have freed the bugs from the play-doh using the tweezer, used our hands to make marks on the play-doh and manipulate it, completed inset boards and made marks with the chalks✋

Yesterday, the preschoolers had their graduation leavers party 🎉
We played pass the parcel and musical statues, we had a big dance with all of our friends then had a lovely lunch of chips, chicken nuggets and pizza 🍟🍕 followed by some cake for pudding 🧁😋
The children had a fantastic morning celebrating, and we will miss them loads when they go off to school 🏫❤️

This week in the jelly tots room our topic has been Animals.

The children have enjoyed exploring a sea animal tray, painting animal pictures, reading different thats not my books, feeling different textures in an artic animal tray and on Friday we had a pool party and lots of ice cream to cool us down☀️🌞🏖️☺️🍦🎨🛝🐬🪸🪼
