Bambino's Private Day Nursery

Last weeks topic for the jelly Babies was senses. on Monday the babies enjoyed exploring different scented play dough. We had peppermint, orange and cinnamon. on Tuesday the babies did some food tasting where they tasted some pickles, salami, watermelon, pineapple, strawberries, cheese, ice cream and raspberry sorbet. The children loved tasting these. On Wednesday the babies explored a treasure basket tray where they had objects with different textures. On thursday the babies enjoyed looking at the different coloured lights in the sensory room. On Friday the babies explored the musical instruments and enjoyed dancing to football songs with the instruments.

This week in the jelly beans room we have been learning about summer! 🍦🐚☀️
We have enjoyed playing in a beach tray finding the sea animals, painting flowers 🌺, making bees using our fingers and making ice cream with shaving foam!
We also made football biscuits on Wednesday to celebrate the England game! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

This week the Jelly tots topic has been colours and numbers.
The children have all enjoyed painting on tin foil, water colour painting outside, 3 cheeky monkeys tray, number song bags and numbers in blue jelly baff 😊1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣🔴🖌️🎨🐵

Kings birthday street party 🎉

Today the children have all had a street party for King Charles‘ birthday 🎂. The children had hot dogs, pizza and chips for their lunch.

Yesterday the Jelly babies invited their daddies to nursery for a Father’s Day stay and play. The babies enjoyed showing their daddies what they get up to at nursery.

We hope all the daddies have a lovely Father’s Day on Sunday!

Last weeks topic for the jelly babies was ‘child interest’. The babies enjoyed listening to the dear zoo story and also looking at the different animals from the story. The babies enjoyed visiting the sensory room where the looked at the lights and explored the different sensory toys. The babies also enjoyed exploring a peppa pig rice tray which they loved. The babies also enjoyed exploring a farm yard tray and enjoyed making the sounds of the different animals. The babies finished the week with a dance party which they loved showing off their dance moves.

This week in the Jelly Tots our topic has been ‘Thats not my…’📚
The children have explored a ‘That‘s not my panda’ tray🐼, looked at the farm animals for ‘Thats not my pig’🐷, made play-doh hedgehogs for ‘Thats not my hedgehog’🦔enjoyed a dinosaur tray for ‘Thats not my dinosaur’ 🦖and watched the cars outside for ‘Thats not my car’🚗

Our topic in the Jelly Tots this week has been bugs, butterflies and insects🐞🦋🐛
We have some caterpillars that we will be watching grow into butterflies. The children have loved watching these grow over the past week🐛
The children have also enjoyed finding bugs in the outdoor area during free play🐞
Over the week the children have been on a bug hunt, painted a spider web picture, made a butterfly collage, coloured in a bumble bee and explored the minibeasts in the soil.
We have also read lots of stories around bugs and butterflies as well as using the flash cards in free play to extend our learning🪲🕷️🐞🦋

This weeks topic for the Jelly babies has been people who help us. The babies have role played being doctors using different props such as bandages and plasters to make the toy babies better. The babies enjoyed exploring the police toys and putting on the police hats. The babies have also enjoyed playing with the fire engine toys with the station. The babies have coloured in their own police car. To finish the week the babies have used syringes filled with water to help put out a pretend fire 🚓👮🩺👩‍⚕️🚒🧑‍🚒🔥

This weeks topic for the Jelly Babies has been Transport. The babies have enjoyed exploring a car messy tray, a boat water tray, visiting the local train station to watch the trains and we also watched the cars drive past us. To finish our week the babies have explored a train table activity.
