A Major Music Supplies is Staffordshire's leading sheet music specialist. Now stocking a wide range of instruments and gifts.

Based in Trentham Shopping Village we have been serving the musicians of Staffordshire for nearly 30 years! A Major has always been associated with music and music education in the five counties. Many schools and private music teachers have bought books and instruments, and sent their students to A Major for nearly 30 years. This is because A Major believes very much that everyone should learn a musical instrument - at any age. There are many benefits to self and to society, and so we set out to run an old fashioned music shop. We advise and sell on all the popular instrument types, and do our best to get people playing. Of course, music isn't all studying and exams, so we carry a wide stock of music across classical and more pop titles, and a large range of musical gifts for you and your musical friends. Our new location in Trentham makes A Major part of a great day out, so whether you're a seasoned player or just interested in starting out why not call in and say hi.

It’s growing… yet more books on our sale stand. When they’ve gone, they’ve gone this lot… everything from at least a third off, some are 75% off…

Laura and I just spent a day making a start on the new Sale area for the shop. We have to reflect a changing world and that means taking a long hard look at the kinds of books we sell and making room for more of the kinds of books people want to buy.

We are moving literally thousands of books into this area for as much as 75% off!!

We’re still working on it but feel free to come and browse. We’ll be adding more over the coming weeks. It’s the unit next to the exam music at the back of the shop.

See you soon!

Happy Birthday to us!

Can you believe we've been at Trentham Estate for 9 years today!! And what a roller coaster it's been. Following our move from Newcastle we saw instant success as part of Trentham Shopping Village ...and then a global pandemic changed everything!

Life continues to be a struggle for small businesses like ours, but by the grace of our wonderful customers and a great shopping experience at Trentham we are still here.

Thank you to all of you for keeping us going when all around us music shops are failing, and thank you to our hard working staff who ensure that customers are still at the heart of what we do.
